Its not entitlement, it’s a solution to a much larger issue of people lacking communication skills. If you have the funds for the encounter the deposit should be of no issue, especially if the deposit is a relatively small amount. It shows a true intention of meeting and should something upend the encounter on the side of the provider it would be easy to refund. Should the person cancel themselves then it is not a complete loss. We understand that people are busy and life happens, but the world does not revolve around our clientele. We have things to do that we reschedule to make time for clients who don’t care in the slightest about what we go through to make things happen for them. It’s an abusive relationship that providers are constantly, and consistently, told to put up and shut up in because clients cant be bothered to be decent human beings anymore. It’s completely asinine.

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with a client for almost 4 hours on Rentmen. He initially reached out to me and asked for my unlock code, which I gave and left a note with, as I usually do. The note typically reads something like, “Enjoy the view Are you visiting Vegas soon?” After which he explained his situation. He said he was turning 60 on October 2nd and wanted to celebrate his retirement with some hardcore domination over the course of the 2nd and the 3rd of October. For this he was offering upwards of $2,000. He was unsure of wether or not that was a service I could provide because of my appearance, stating I looked “kind” and like I “couldn’t hurt a fly”, but I assured him that if he took pleasure in it, I would too. He also stated that regardless of that fact he still reached out to me because he loved the way my dick looks. Fast forward about 2 hours later and he is asking, no, demanding, a “sample”. I thought to myself, “Sure, what could it hurt? I can give this man a discounted price on an hour long encounter to ensure a much larger, much more substantial payout in a month or two.” I told him that I could give him an hour of my time tonight for $200, to which he replied, “Samples are free. I see what kind of person you are. I only wanted 5 minutes.” At which point I shrugged and said, “Alright for 5 minutes I’m willing to take a smaller donation. Maybe a dollar a minute?” He was not happy. He attempted to guilt trip me and then stated he had another, larger and more painful dick, as his second choice and would be going to him. At this point I was fed up with the gentlemen and told him that was fine. He could go with him and that he should stop messaging me if he was going to continue to just waste my time. This is when he decided to not so vaguely threaten me and then block me. I don’t know what I’m looking for here, maybe clarity on what his thought process might have been? Ideas on how I can prevent ordeals like this from reoccurring? Maybe a new resource? Rentmen is becoming more and more of a miss for me lately because of things like this.

I’ve been attempting to find clients there for a few weeks but it seems to just be another hookup site. Might as well just stick to Grindr if youre looking for a hookup, at least guys on there are less weird about their kinks.

Its becoming harder and harder for me to book appointments in my city. Anyone else having this issue?

Of course. Things happen and people can no longer do what they arranged to do sometimes. I completely understand when that happens. My issue is when people cancel because, and I can not make this up, “I found someone for free.” Yes, you can cancel on me if you find a better, cheaper option. It’s understandable and it makes sense. No, it is not acceptable for you to cancel just because you found someone free. Especially when you cancel without even informing me that you found service elsewhere. At that point I’ve wasted time and money making arrangements in an attempt to accommodate someone who has thought little, if any, about the type of situation I am placed in due to their decision making. We all get it. Shit happens. Plans change. The responsible, sensible, and generally right thing to do in these situations is inform each party involved of any changes that may effect the plans made. I extend that courtesy to each of my clients and very rarely do I receive it in return.

I really do wish there were better ways to get in contact with those who are actually willing to meet and go through with the exchange in it’s entirety. I would ask for deposits or cancellation fees but more often than not, for me at least, it scares off potential clients and I’m left empty handed.

I’m sick of having this same issue with people who are visiting Vegas. It seems like this summer there’s been an influx of guys who will flake if you do tell them where you are hosting and guys who ask for no reason other than to say its too far. It’s become a major annoyance and slight hinderance.
