  1. For you young folks. Be patient.

Start now, with no load mutual funds, eg Vanguard. Invest every week or every pay period. Take advantage of 401k company match. (You must) Find a way to do that! ???

Never try timing the market. Protect through diversification.

Do re-balance based on the risk that makes sense for you. Otherwise leave it alone.

Never recommend a stock to someone else or buy a stock based on some hot stick tip.

If you really want outside advice, hire a financial planner, but be very careful how you choose. I've been lucky in that regard.

Don't buy and hold your company's stock.

Kudos to you fellows banking big $$ with crypto currency. But am I the only one that envisions an impending crash? What is the underlying value if the demand plummets? There is none, right?

  2. Lawrence and Trask both got whipped in their bowl games.

I must be a little bit sweet on TL ( OK I am) because I cringed when the Buckeyes hit him a little too hard. Hate to see him knocked around like that.

  3. The John Mayer tribute to those lost during 2020 was touching. I love John Mayer.

Leslie Jordan was funny. I didn't know he is a big social media star.

I like Don Lemon, but I really like Don Lemon after a few shots on NYE. He's a sweet guy.

Also liked hearing Andy Cohen's mom admit she appreciates simply having food to eat and a home to live in, especially during these times.

The panoramic shots from 100 floors up were nice. I liked the dance troupe up there.

Colbert was clever and funny as usual. He proclaimed his shot was Mount Gay, which is a rum I buy at Trader Joe's. Colbert is always a highlight for me.

  4. Billy Elliott. It isn't a necessarily a gay movie but watched it again. I forgot that it really has many mature themes in it. I must admit (and this is only about 3 minutes of the movie in totality) I did not like. But the rest is charming and Julie Walters is great. The other thing that I must admit (only because I became afraid it made me a bit of a pederast, except I did not want to have sex with him) was that Billy's next door neighbor and friend was absolutely beautiful.

It has a nice LGBTQ message.

The movie and the live musical are both favorites of mine.

  5. Oh, Lord, I do have a soft spot for mixed race men, such as this dude, Ricky Kim. They always seem to get the best of both worlds... Genetic diversity is where it's at.

    From Wikipedia:

Ricky Lee Neely, known professionally as Ricky Kim (Korean: 리키 김), is an American model and actor.

Ricky Lee Neely was born on June 19, 1981, to a Korean mother and an American father. He grew up in Kansas and Hawaii, and then studied mass communications at Kansas State University, with ambitions of becoming a lobbyist. In 2005 he arrived in South Korea to volunteer and teach English on the side, then left the country to continue traveling around the world. But having made the decision to pursue a career in entertainment, he returned four months later and began handing out his profile to modeling and talent agencies. Under the stage name Ricky Kim, he made his acting debut in the 4-episode 2006 TV series Miracle. He first attracted notice for his supporting role in the 2008 hit show On Air, followed by his first leading role in the romantic comedy film My Darling FBI. He then joined the cast as Michelle Morris in the 2009 Korean staging of the musical Dreamgirls. In the 2010 period medical drama Jejungwon, he played Dr. John William Heron, Presbyterian missionary and hospital director of the first Western medical institution in Korea.

Since 2009 he has been a regular on sports-reality show Let's Go Dream Team! Season 2. He also appeared in several seasons of Law of the Jungle, a travel-reality show in which a cast of celebrities go to exotic locations such as Namibia, Papua, Vanuatu, Siberia, Madagascar, and New Zealand, and are left to explore and survive in nature.

It does look as though he has a tattoo, though:

Yeah, mixed with Korean can be nice ;)

But any country has their pretty men.
