I just think that we have seen all too often that people have different experiences with the same provider, based on chemistry and how much history people have. So I wouldn’t wanna say “oh he doesn’t do XYZ” when he just doesn’t do XYZ with that particular client.

Masseur = male massage therapist
Masseuse = female massage therapist
(Another data point to see if someone is likely legit, if he calls himself by the wrong title )

More frequent testing, fewer partners, more lube, PreP, condoms, avoid/limit drugs and alcohol, trim nails, avoid brushing teeth and shaving too close to sex, learn common STI symptoms & skin changes to look for in yourself and partners - to name a few

if he’s near DC, he’s in the best city already. He lists the candidate cities, don’t really expect that there’s anywhere else someone might add

the Midwest, Salt Lake City, Birmingham AL are all potential decent spots, but would require air travel and can occasionally be “misses” - I wouldn’t gamble on trips like that during COVID

I’m a middle age man and an adult who understands the risks. The thing I will think about is my family (elderly parents and relatives with health issues) and the fact even if I don’t get sick I could transmit something to them that could kill them. I don’t think I would be able to live with myself if I passed it on to someone and they died.

A plain-ol’ buddy it would have to be... I’m coming up on 6 months of no (THC) cannabis ????

I’ve been reading more, growing a beard (it ain’t great but why not?), learned to make baguettes, cook Seitan, brew kombucha, took a course on farming oyster mushrooms, growing some mushroom crops, playing Quite a bit of online poker (and thankfully doing quite well), connecting with a lot of my peeps more than pre-COVID
 
financially, it has been quite unfortunate but happy to have had some Very good luck in My investments outside of ‘scortin’ - feel very fortunate and give myself a good, hard pinch whenever I drift to “oh I lost out on all these really substantial appts I had scheduled due to COVID” because I am so, so lucky

Sometimes a person’s first experience could be a non-consensual or predatory type of experience, so just be prepared that this question can put someone in a slightly weird or bad headspace. Even asking the question like “what was your first consensual or first good sex experience?” is thoughtful and intentional and caring and can go a long way in helping keep things in a better frame of mind. It’s subtle but something I try to be mindful of

I think the board here is being extra cynical - I can’t imagine being resentful that someone was generous and trusting enough to front me a session and giving a bad session as a result

Very interesting point about the alcohol dependence / withdrawals (which can be life threatening) - didn’t come to mind immediately but it makes total sense
 

Isn't that a big assumption to make? Just because someone shows his body online, that means he values himself solely by his sexual capital? Isn't it possible that someone could enjoy showing what he has but also value his intellect, his emotional self, his kindness towards others, etc?

The funny thing is who wants things to be the same? This has pointed up so many garish inequities and ways that things should be done that "normal" can never be adequate again.
