But that wasn't the intent of the original question.
He was clearly asking how he'd be able to get a service for free when he knows he's supposed to be paying for it.
And I quote:  'Not watch the clock' and 'stay past (agreed) time without charging.'
    Pretty straightforward to me.
It's like people who want to sit in first class but aren't willing to pay for it.

Almost no provider is going to answer a random number phone call. Start with a text. I start even with RM messenger so it's easy to pull the plug if I get a bad vibe from the provider without having them know my phone number.

I’ve had this happen. I think I’ve written about it previously but I’ll mention it again here because it’s relevant.
I did an outcall one time to a client and his young daughter was with him when he answered the door. In fact we used the room she had been playing in for the massage. The client had intended we use a garage (integral to the house, a townhouse over 3 stories) but it wasn’t suitable so he moved the session to the ground floor play / tv room. As I was setting up the table he asked her to “go upstairs to mummy while daddy has his massage”….
Once she was gone I checked with him that he understood the nature of the service, as in we’d both be naked and it would include sexual activity and he confirmed all ok. He’d clearly seen my advertising etc so couldn’t have been in doubt but given his wife and daughter were upstairs and knew he was having a massage I did wonder…
What’s worse is he didn’t even lock the door and during the session I could hear them upstairs. I asked him if this was ok and he was adamant we’d not be disturbed.
I didn’t meet the wife, or daughter again fortunately as I think it would be even worse to see them afterwards. The client behaved like it was all routine…maybe it was a turn on for him because it certainly didn’t seem to inhibit him…he was hard as soon as he got naked.
I really don’t mind if there’s others in an adjacent room. I’m also fine if they know what’s going on. I’ve done live shows and workshops including having full sex and things like being a demo model for the use of sex toys so it’s not a problem to me. I also have clients who are married and they both have massages from me while the other one watches.
However in every situation it’s been agreed beforehand. It’s just polite and respectful to ask, and of course some situations such as the one above where I knew his daughter was upstairs are very disconcerting. He should have told me that might be the case when booking.
I think that for most people they want discretion and privacy in such situations. If you as a client have any circumstances where your place isn’t going to be private then it’s best to let your provider know then he can decide. The default expectation both ways is of privacy.

I am a client, and I just accept that there are some providers who are above what I am willing to pay. Nothing wrong with them asking for what they ask, nothing wrong with me not hiring them for it. Some have been around for some time, so to me that means that they seem to be doing well with their prices. Why on Earth will they want to lower the price? Also, not to me, but I have wirnessed others mentioning that lowering the price does not leave a good impression in some clients, as they take that as them cheapening themselves, disparate, or that there has to be something wrong with them, or that they are a scam.
So no, I am against lowering prices. If I cannot afford it, or if I don't find that price reasonable, I just move on. I don't think that either me or the provider loses anything for not having my business.

analogy aside, some do it in a completely tactless way. First message will be “hi Shawn - looking for an appointment. Do you offer discounts?”

When I first contact a provider, it is via text.  I say I am responding to their ad on (whatever site their ad was on) and that I am wondering if they have time and what is the rate to host a (time duration) (type, usually erotic) mutual nude and mutual touch massage at (whatever time I am looking for). I then say my ideal session would include release and a shower together at the end.
This has never failed me.  They can either not respond(which means we probably were not a match and that I have saved myself from a disappointing session), say no to certain things(which means I know what I am getting and what they are comfortable with), or agree so they know what you are expecting.  I have asked masseurs to various fetishes(watching them piss, watching them release, nipple pay, licking, and other sensual elements) if I felt like we had a connection on a second meeting and the worst they can do is say no.
While some on here like the thrill of not knowing what will happen and the anticipation of the "will he or won't he" get naked, I am not a fan of gambling money on that when I have expectations.

As is often discussed, "sensual" and "erotic" are vague terms that can mean many different things in practice.  An advertiser might change his ad for lots of reasons, including managing expectations of prospective clients.  However, if you're an experienced client with a provider, and the service provided has changed, why not simply ask?  It seems a case where actual communication would be better than assuming or making up stories about what has happened, there could be erroneous assumptions on both sides.  An honest exchange might either improve your relationship with the provider, or allow you decide not to come back to him.

It depends on the client.  Small is definitely easier to handle but if it's big as long as the client takes his time initially and doesn't try to ram it in then big can be enjoyable.

Wow I never answered this. From my end it’s multi-fold.

Surely most of you have seen the “Massage Types I Offer” section of rentmasseur with the options “therapeutic” “sensual” and “erotic”.

I have an idea, but I’m sure most people (outside the forum) don’t know the difference between “sensual” and “erotic”. So most providers will select all 3 so they show up in search results.
also, sometimes clients aren’t always truthful. Some say they want a massage but they’re chasing you around the room in a few minutes. (This isn’t everyone!)
ive even tried asking what site they found me on, but some have asked for massages off Rentmen and more off masseurfinder.
last, as @Lance_Navarroonce said, the two go hand in hand. Many clients do want some of of both; the amount of both they want is a sliding scale.

so as difficult as it can be to determine what someone is offering, it’s also difficult to determine what someone wants. The websites don’t make it easier.

the best to do is ask if someone offers what you want.

I agree with @Shawn Monroe. Clients can be very cagey about what they want, with it changing between when they book and when they turn up, or even during the session.
I’ve had clients book and expect a sensual massage only for them to ask for full service part way through. I think my advertising and pricing is clear, it includes erotic massage and everything short of ‘full service’. But that still doesn’t stop people wanting it during the session, even though I’m not offering an up sell during the session. Some want me to bottom but I’ve not prepared (nor charged) for that so I have to decline.
All parties to the transaction should be clear about what is and isn’t included beforehand because it saves a lot of problems. That’s assuming it’s legally possible / safe to do so. Where I work it’s fine to be very clear so I always recommend clients to ask me if they really want anything included.

This topic has come up several times. My policy is that no matter how vague or clear the ad is, I always ask, and I always ask because some of those ads that are "clear" are also inaccurate and false. Specificity does not mean truthful. Since I always ask, I ge the information I need and have expectations. The Rentmasseur website has the option for providers to specify if they provide erotic massages, but they themselves decide what that means or how far they go.
Also, some providers have basic information, but in the communication via text or call, they have also added that they offer additional services for additional charges. In addition, that communication has been provided in the session when/if things heat up a little. Finally, another way of getting a clue of how far a masseur could go is by checking if the provider also has an ad in rentmen or similar sites.
At first look might be confusing, as it was to me when I first started, but then I realize that some providers are more discrete in how they offer their services. There's never going to be a clear cut, very specific description of what's going to happen in a given session.

There are ways to get around this - I go to the gym at 6:30 am, so it’s out of the way. That being said, I can’t take appointments after 10pm to be ready for the gym.

either way I’m agreeing with everyone here - routine and boundaries are important.

When I was still working in office, my hours were set from 12-2 (for a lunch appointment if one came up), then 5-11.
Once a client reached out and asked if I could meet “on my break time from 2-5” and I had to respond that I’m not just lying on the couch during that time; I was back in the office.
just saying this to say that sometimes routine is important. Jumping at the chance to take any and every appointment can hinder other parts of your life.
