I’ve no experience of him to relate @davebk but did you check his profile in detail? I ask because I wonder just how “dom” he could be, given that he’s 24, short (5’8) and slightly built (130lbs)

It depends on whether you want to tease him or top him ;-) My approach was “I love your pics but so many guys edit their pics. How can I be sure that you’re really so stunning in person?” Most guys knew it was outrageous flattery but they still lapped it up. Normally they suggested meeting...and I suggested drinks and dinner

You make some good points @SirBIllybob To me, it seems that many handsome young men on IG are insecure about their looks/physique. They need validation. When I was looking to meet guys on a regular basis, I quite liked that. I found that giving them some nice compliments on their face/body and their travel plans made it easy to open talks about us meeting for a date ;-)

I really have no view as to what rate is appropriate. Like any man, I enjoy a bargain. Discovering a new item of quality is thrilling. And if it’s available at a discount to the market-price, that’s ideal. But long ago, I decided what matters to me is getting exactly what I want. I delight in a handsome face, a ripped muscled body and a compliant nature. I value a man who is eager to meet my needs and enthusiastic about fulfilling my desires. Price is my least concern because I’m able and willing to pay. On a long-term basis, I feel I have a strong sense of what it will cost me to have my wishes met in and out of bed

Thanks. He’s a nice-looking man. As for his insistence on a clear pic, why not? When I was hiring a few years ago, I’d never commit without seeing a clear and current photo of the guy and I’d offer to send my clear photo if he wanted.

I felt sure that someone would comment on the sad news of Pietro’s confession. His latest photo (on IG and Twitter) shows him taking sun on Miami Beach - see below - and bears Pietro’s own caption of “Doesn’t suck” ;-(

It’s not just risky; IMHO it’s potentially an expensive disaster. Whichever guy you deem suitable, you must meet him first for a date and then an overnight date. Otherwise you simply have no idea whether he will drive you crazy after a few hours or snore loudly or insist on sleeping in when you’d hoped for morning sex, etc etc

Interesting recent posts on IG by Nick Sandell on his recent gynecomastia surgery. According to him, it’s a common side-effect of taking steroids that scar-tissue builds up under the nipples, and it becomes painful all the time. I applaud Nick S for being so honest about this.

Interesting to hear @MikeBiDude tnat you’ve had these difficulties with Seeking. When I was actively looking, I always stressed that I wanted an “arrangement” with an attractive young man as a “potential husband”. I emphasised that we needed to be “compatible physically” and emotionally. And lastly I mentioned that if the initial meeting went well, the young man would need to “commit” to a relationship. I never suggested anywhere how long (or temporary) the arrangement might be. The young men seemed to understand readily what I was contemplating. And I never fell foul of the ‘escorting police’.

I can give one insight into ‘black party’ as used in ads in Italy and Spain. In Spain, for instance, black kisses (besos negro) in an advert signify that the advertiser will engage in rimming. Strangely IME this most often appears in ads by female providers seeking heterosexual clients.

‘Supposedly straight’ is correct @BabyBoomer . I understand from someone who filmed a couple of his videos that the lure of easy money was too strong for him and he soon lost his reluctance to bottom, swallow cum etc.
