The pandemic is far from over. If you've been watching the news, you'll see that in the U.S., infection rates are increasing for the winter, and European countries are already locking down again. Personally, my demand is down too - there was only a 3 month window this year where I was in Chicago and hiring. And I don't fall for increased pricing - 300 an hour is too high already, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm asking because, during this pandemic season, I've been staying away from Chicago and working from my place in a more rural area in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, while this area is more relaxing and safer from germs, it's also MAGA country (farmers in the area still have their Trump/Pence signs up) and almost entirely Caucasian. I've had providers of color decline to come, even when I've offered good (a large amount of) money for transportation. One of my regulars, who is black, bluntly told me he'd be afraid to come here, because he might be shot. For providers of different ethnic background - have you had such racist encounters in your work?

I'm in the same boat. Over the years, maybe a dozen escorts I contacted reacted negatively when they asked me what I was into (that includes the ones who went radio silent, which I treat as the same thing). Yes, Zelle is the equivalent of a bank transfer - your bank has to have an agreement with them, and transactions are treated like real cash withdrawals. I don't even use the Zelle app - my bank's app includes a Zelle option. It's not as anonymous, but: 1. It looks somewhat suspicious if you go to a teller constantly for large cash outflows (which in the U.S. can be investigated) 2. My bank's ATMs only carry 20s (and also have daily withdraw limits) 3. It's safer for the provider (you can't reverse a Zelle transaction if the other person's bank uses it)

One thing I learned the hard way: If you agree on a price, and the guy later says he wants more, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. 1. If you turn down their request, the session will be lousy or a lot shorter than expected. 2. If you pay them more, they've pegged you as a sucker, and will keep asking for more. This is a business deal. You don't offer more money when buying something.
