Ditto to most of this. Most "client contacts" I received were visitors from out of town, who I'd either seen before, or expressed interest in (but was unable to meet). I can think of 2 times a local provider reached out to me (not counting the desperate - and ignored - RM messages I received during the pandemic). 1. A kid I stopped hiring because he was always very late. He needed money, but has yet to understand that people with money usually have to follow a strict schedule. He got so persistent that I blocked him. 2. A guy called me a few weeks after our first session. That was 6 years ago, and he's still my favorite regular.

Venmo/PayPal/Cash App Users-New IRS Regulations

Hence, for the "Reason" in Venmo, I try to say, "paid back the money I owed him." -
Whatever happened to MuscleCompanion/Ben Kieren in Boston?
+ DrownedBoy replied to lesgo09's topic in The Deli
He's a hell of a lot bigger than when I hired him during a Chicago visit. But...that would have been at least 6 years ago. -
Gotcha. Plus he's pretty short; not sure if he's my type of bodybuilder.
-
Same quote for his Chicago visit. HOWEVER, I'm willing to pay that much....if he can deliver on the muscles. @Jomo I know you don't want to review, but can you confirm how his muscles looked to you?

Of course. Even on Grindr, I've been contacted by people who, unsolicited, tell me they're into something really different (like scat), right before blocking me immediately. (one day, I'm sure that guy will block someone who really is into scat - poor him )
-
I'd love to try Grindr - such a larger market! - but it probably wouldn't be long before my "looking for generous" friends meet my "don't need anything" friends.
-
Yeah. Mr. Biceps decided to visit Chicago, and I really enjoyed spending the night with him. An extremely nice guy, good conversation, and an excellent kisser.

I prefer having regulars (mainly so I don't have to re-explain my RP every time), but I'll try someone new. People retire from the business. However, during the past 2 years, I haven't met any escorts that I'd want to add to my regular hire list.

23 YR OLD MUSCLE GOD : $200 HOURLY RACK RATE
+ DrownedBoy replied to robberbaron4u's topic in The Deli
Even if this guy is real..... Not only is he straight, but he literally doesn't list a single "into." He probably charges 200 to flex only. -
I don't know how many Latino providers post in CoM, but has a client ever tried to shoo you away or avoid paying by suggesting you were in the States illegally? Has anyone heard of this happening? Even, perhaps, Latino clients from unscrupulous providers? I ask because: 1. Many businesspeople have done this 2. It also (unfortunately) appears to happen after certain breakups in the gay community ("get your ex deported")

Providers who are not into "kissing"
+ DrownedBoy replied to Marc in Calif's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yup. I know other clients here have met straight people who kissed well, but I bet those escorts were just claiming to be straight. I still encounter gay escorts who "don't kiss," even if they list it on their preferences. This is especially true among the younger providers. Luckily they're usually easy to weed out with a few detailed text questions. There are so many types of bisexuals that you really have to sound them out. I find their (ahem) manner of speaking is a very good indicator of their kissing skills. You need someone who's at least a 4 (preferably 5) on the Kinsey Scale if you want to get some tongue. Like the others here, I've met a few bisexual guys who don't list kissing, but claim they'll do it for the "right type of guy" or "if the mood hits them." I have a regular I've been seeing since before I started kissing escorts, and although he doesn't list kissing, he definitely delivers for me. -
Escorting in the USA isn't illegal?
+ DrownedBoy replied to MeatHead's topic in Questions About Hiring
That applies to providers only. The article makes clear that clients were still going to be arrested and prosecuted. So, right now and where I live, _I'm_ assuming all the legal risk. -
My stance as well. I wasn't born into money, and that worldview will never change. When I see ads like this (really hot guy for a really big fee), I just think of the sexier men I met, and how their fees were so much lower.
-
And to think my favorite college course was "discreet mathematics".... Seriously, I also passed him by because of the dearth of pictures. But after hearing from @Marccliff, I sent a request for a face photo.

Absolutely. Brothels are safer and more comfortable for both parties. Depends on where the electorate is. Chicago used to be famous for its fancy brothels (even attracting European royals and nobles). Most citizens (and officials) just looked the other way. Unfortunately, in the States, too many people lack common sense - they think outlawing something actually stops it. Sort of like the dimwits in the South who banned sex ed, and were then surprised when teenage pregnancy increased.

The only time I give less than 5-star reviews is if the provider stole from me. By this, I mean they took my money for an agreed upon amount of time for specifically defined services, but left far before the session was over, and without my agreement (in all cases, they found an excuse to leave and refused any suggestion of partial refund; sometimes they were openly mean about it). A warning - even with this limited criteria, I've had situations where I'm the only bad vote for a guy that's 5 stars in every single other review. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of men out there who are too timid to be negative. NOTE I'm only talking about RM reviews. When we can post reviews here again, I'll be brutally honest about even my long time regulars.

I really need to step up my Spanish studies.....

I'm sorry - I think you were played. Most providers would be overjoyed to be given, without even asking, half the fee, especially given that you gave him 30 hours and had Covid. When you break an appointment for Covid, you're doing a favor to both sides - which is why I would only give a token cancellation fee for that. Unfortunately, your provider saw your generosity, took advantage of it, and tried to get away with more. However, your lack of response (or, if he's on this board, reading your post) made him wise up (along with the prospect of losing the entire cancellation fee). Plus, by "settling" for half the fee, he could act like he's doing you a favor. Adding those sob stories about being short of money was his attempt to keep you as a customer (which luckily failed). **** You can't be too cynical. I've seen it all before.

Overnights with Clients that Snore
+ DrownedBoy replied to + DynamicUno's topic in Questions About Hiring
Ditto. 2 queen beds. It helps if the beds are in separate rooms. -
Heaven forbid that the community here should act any more civil than the gay community at large. I have to listen to enough sniping between people on age/weight/appearance/hair/masculinity/etc. in real life.
-
You developed feelings for 3 different men you hired? I think you might be mistaking your feelings.
-
Yeah, I tried meeting up with him in Chicago, but he seemed pretty fussy about the clients when it came to both taste and location. Judging by his reputation, he didn't need more clients here.

How to ask for kinks? (Man scent, verbal humiliation)
+ DrownedBoy replied to Idreamofweny's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yes. Providers will tell you that themselves.
