I do wish there were more partnered duos out there. I had a really fun couple I liked meeting, but they broke up.

Maybe this market is a mine canary. Escorts here (Chicago area) are getting less business, despite all the talk about the economy escaping a recession. I've encountered more escorts who are lowering their prices. My policy is to never pay more than the standard 1/2 hour rates of 300/500. When someone goes over that, I politely decline, but for the past few months, many started to drop their rates to what I was offering right after I initially turned them down. That's in addition to the new entries into the market. In particular, men doing it as a "side hustle" are massively undercutting local prices. In addition, a lot of the newbies are desperate to build up good reviews, since only paying RM clients can give stars out. That's proven to be a good investment for me. It would be interesting to try and find a correlation between escort rates and economic downturns. Because I'm afraid that correlation is very high.

I have a regular who lists himself as 24-7, and he's my "replacement escort." He's almost always available, and arrives quickly. The last time some dumb kid casually flaked on me, he kept me within 30 minutes of my schedule. Very professional and nice young man - a lot more mature than other providers of the same age. That last time, I mentioned to him that I hired him due to a flake, and he had no trouble - he saw it as a business opportunity. His 24/7 working model paid off.

I had an escort who did that at the same time his phone "lost power", and then took 30 minutes to get from the sidewalk to my room. Then he said that 30 minutes counted towards the session. After the session, I texted him, told him I had a great time, and told him to look out for his review. It wasn't exactly a 5-star review, and I laughed at his histrionic texts claiming I ruined his "career."

So do I, but I need variety in my diet.

It sounds like a prank a bunch of middle school kids would play on someone for fun. I'd need to find my list of escorts who screwed me over. I don't forget.

I know a lot of them are faking. I lost count of how many escorts had perfectly working phones that conveniently ran out of power an hour before the session. Like it or not, some cultures have a laid back attitude to time and punctuality. I don't care - when in Rome... My advice is not to accept any excuses. If someone advertises on RentMen, they're asking for a professional's fee, so expect them to act professional. If they get lost, it's because they failed to prepare adequately. Don't enable irresponsible people.

Two words: ask politely. Act somewhat apologetic and acknowledge that the provider may not be able to make it that soon. You might need to text multiple people. Look for ads saying the user is available 24\7. Avoid ads saying they prefer early scheduling. And of course, flag the flake here on CoM.

I agree, but it really helps if they have the right attitude/acting skills. I guess I just look for the skills more than the costume. I also like to be surprised. It can actually be fun having a young, innocent-looking, fashion-conscious twink suddenly start kicking you around.

I'd be perfectly happy to see a SW union.... ....provided that union membership requires a commitment to professionalism. Such mandatory rules like getting to sessions on time (and discounts for being late), making honest and up-to-date ads, etc. If you want to make a union, you need to be professionals. And unfortunately, a lot of SW on RentMen are not. Union membership is a responsibility, not just a way to gain benefits, to signal you're a reliable and good worker, and are therefore good to hire. You don't just let anyone in.

Just search the threads for stories like that. Happened to me too. I do know that if it happens to me again, I'm flagging him and his ad in a CoM thread. Escorts deserve respect; thieves do not.

We're more likely not to notice our own (expressed) attitude than another's. It's more likely that we already know how it is to be perceived as having a bad attitude even when we don't mean it, so we're more tolerant of people with similar trouble.

Second that - Chicago is just as sprawling as LA or NYC. One thing you should strongly consider recording is does escort have a means of transportation, or do they expect Uber. Both client and provider can live near each other, but some escorts have no means of transportation. Moreover, some younger escorts actually expect Uber - that should be recorded in case we want to avoid them. I don't know if someone said/implied it before, but if they use payment apps, record which apps they can use. I missed out on a hire because I couldn't get the app working with my account and phone at the last minute. (I was also going to suggest adding tongue length, but only people like me would be interested)

I personally promote the site whenever possible. I make all my regulars aware of it. When other clients on RM ask me about a provider (because they see I've reviewed him), I try and give them a link to the relevant thread here. Both clients and providers are stigmatized in American society; places like this are oases.

That attraction is across genders. I had an Arab coworker who was totally Americanized, and women found the combination of Arab features and a normal worldview attractive. I personally think it's somehow based on how Arabs are steteotypically viewed in the U.S., with the exaggerated masculinity, hint of danger, etc. Arab guys look fine to me too, but many have more facial hair than I enjoy.

That's a shame. Reading is a lost art, and providers taking the time to read this forum would have a market advantage, even if they only lurk.
