Fellas, this isn’t a real request. We should avoid entertaining this guy with too much effort. 

During the first 5 years you own the bond, you will lose the last three months of interest if you cash it in.  You also do not earn interest in the month that you cancel the bond.  When they post the interest earned each month, those four months are already figured into, which is why no interest posts to the account until the 1st day of the 5th month of ownership.

I viewed the comment left by the 1-star reviewer and he states that this guy loves to rip people off.  No further explanation of how he likes to rip people off.  

I usually reply, but there are certain circumstances where I will ignore the message:
1. Newish forum member who is asking for details about someone about whom I made a negative post years ago.  I always wonder if those are some sort of fishing expedition, with the escort/masseur trying to identify clients who have posted not-so-nice things about him.
2. People whose questions are far too personal, i.e., they expect to provide details of everything I did with the provider in question.
What makes no sense to me are the PMs about providers about whom I posted something many years ago when there are more current public discussions about that provider.  I still occasionally get PMs about Rainer in Los Angeles even though I only hired him twice and I think that was about a decade ago.  How am I supposed to remember anything beyond what I posted publicly back then, at least anything that I'd be willing to share in a DM?  I do typically reply to messages like that, though, if only to say that since it's been so long since I hired the guy in question that I cannot recall anything other than what I previously posted.

To answer the thread title, it seems not.  Report after report shows inflation is moderating and near-full employment continues to hold.  People in the US continue to spend money like it's going out of style.  One Wall Street analyst says we're "slipping into an expansion".  It seems all the nay-sayers that have been predicting a recession for the last two years may have been wrong (are you listening Elon Musk and Jamie Dimon?).

If you aren't going to mention the name of the provider, what is the purpose of the post? How to handle a similar situation? You didn't provide enough details for someone to provide you with an intelligent answer.
If you are concerned enough about what happened to you to create a new topic, then you should be equally as vigilant in giving us the provider's name so no one else has to experience this "dangerous encounter". Otherwise, this thread is totally useless.
