  1. Kris Lord danced at the now defunct Tramps in Providence before he filmed a couple of videos. He was amazingly attractive such that he stood out amongst a pool of handsome guys. And a killer smile/grin!
  2. I was in a Provincetown restaurant last summer ordering a pre-dinner cocktail. I asked my companion if a Pomegranate martini would make me look more butch than a Cosmopolitan? He replied, "Honey, it ain't the drink." The waitress guffawed.
  3. My first hire was with a friend. I naively knew little about the business beyond seeing ads in the personal section of the local DC gay rag. A FB invited me to join him for a birthday celebration. He had arranged a hire from an agency and we had a ball. That was so many years ago! A few years later a couple I was friends with hired a guy to liven up a small group party. I got his number and called him later. That was my first "official" hire. I think doing so with friend is a comfortable way to try it out.

Thanks kaboom. Your hint revealed a lot...all good.

https://rent.men/NYWolfman Does anyone have any experience? Nothing found here
  6. I think Ewan McGregor was great and proved that straight can play gay and presumably vice versa. I also appreciated the way a mainstream production can acknowledge male sexual activity. You didn't have to be a genius to figure out he was size queen bottom.
  7. I never understood the show's appeal. Seinfeld was creative and brought a younger hip demographic to network TV. What did Friends do that was unique? How it became a ratings leader and internationally popular still baffles me.
  8. Recently watched based on comments here from JEC & Rod Hagen. Spoiler alert...ending broke my heart. Came out of nowhere. Well done movie.
  9. Thank you Joe Mendoza for the pics. I unsuccessfully tried posting one with my initial post. Either he looks better today than ever or my perspective has changed as I get older.
  10. Is it me or did Brad Pitt look sexier in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood than in his previous roles?
  11. It is one more site whose time has come and gone. Its cruising listings continue to get updated. Personal ads gave way to Manhunt which was eclipsed by Grindr & Scruff. Squirt's heyday was the Manhunt era.
  12. Did anyone see the clip of Lil Nas X on Saturday Night Live? There has been talk about his apparent wardrobe malfunction but nothing about the content. All male back up dancers and suggestive moves on a mainstream broadcast. I don't think this could have happened only a few years ago. Bob Dylan was right, "The times they are a changin."
  13. Bump. In Boston now.
  14. I've donated and did so happily. With Go Fund Me there doesn't appear to be way to give your forum name. When sending to Daddy in the past he knew it was me and it of course brought one to the cabana. Just a thought.
  15. BTW, my Rhode Island jab was strictly in jest. My significant other is from RI. Naturally, the rivalry is a source of mutual kidding.
  16. During the years I lived in D.C. I repeatedly heard, "I like New England (or Boston) but the people are not friendly." I was somewhat defensive until I traveled throughout more of the U.S. and realized that folks in other places are indeed friendlier. I do think it's based more on "Yankee reserve" than friendliness. For example, in a Boston restaurant you will never overhear the conversation of nearby party. You will in New Orleans. On the other hand, when you sit down at your table in the French Quarter the adjoining parties will say, "Hello" or, "How are you?" That will never happen in New England even if you make eye contact. I'm not defending the criteria or finding of the survey but have enjoyed the responses the thread generated.
  17. The Snobbiest States – Zippiahttps://www.zippia.com › advice › the-snobbiest-states As a New Englander and as a Bostonian I must take issue with the results of the survey. I don't think Rhode Island is snobby. Nor do they have justification to be so!
  18. Bump...again
  19. I agree. Not amazing but funny & interesting enough to justify watching.
  20. Couldn't wait for a response. Took the plunge. AMAZING!! I think I last had similar experience in my twenties. Maybe
  21. Bump
  22. I'm curious too. Please let us know if you do. Will be in Ft. Lauderdale soon. Thanks
  23. Bump. Any updates in the last 2 years?
  24. The fact that so many of us cared about and followed his condition these last few weeks is a testament to the community he built via this site and Daddy's. My condolences to all, especially those of you who were more closely acquainted with him. May I add my name to those who appreciate Cooper's efforts on Guy's behalf and for updating the rest of us on his condition?
  25. Pardon my kvetching...again. I mentioned this before on a thread about newspaper subscriptions. I love the NY Times and pay through the nose for 7 day delivery. The problem is the delivery is unreliable. The papers have contracted out delivery and they pay poorly. My last delivery guy (who we tipped generously and faithfully) told us there were multiple unfilled routes because the pay was so low. It's crazy how much advertising revenue has migrated to Facebook, Google, etc. But if the industry can't get the paper to our homes they won't survive.
