Just saw an interview with Kumail Nanjiani in today's NY Times about this upcoming Hulu series. I haven't (yet) subscribed to Hulu. Let's see if the series offers more nudity than did their floorshows.

For this year's winter escape from the cold I have narrowed the choice to a return to Puerto Vallarta (several years ago) or trying out Costa Rica (San Jose). Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks for any input.

Austin Butler was fantastic. He nailed two key scenes. First, when Elvis played the TV special his way and second, the first Vegas show. Regrettably, the movie was way too long. We got the point that Colonel Parker was a bad dude but how much screen time did his character require? Cinematography and costumes were well done.

Admittedly off topic, does anyone know whatever happened to Jeff Palmer? He lived, or stayed, briefly in Boston's South End many years ago. I saw him around the neighborhood a few times. He was quite handsome and very short. Later, as we know, he got into HIV denial and crazy rants.

A new version starts Sunday. I found the last one quirky and watchable.

I barely made it through the first season of Will & Grace. Some funny one-liners delivered by annoying, predictable unappealing characters. Hence, I never saw Leslie Jordan on that or any other series I can recall. However, when I did see him, or hear hime being interviewed, I always found him funny. I get the point about playing to a stereotype but I have happy memories of the attention I received at the first gay bars I visited by admittedly older patrons. They included: Napoleon, an eccentric piano bar in Boston's Bay Village; Mr. P's in D.C.; and until not too long ago, Martini's in San Diego. They were full of his type.

Supposedly someone asked Ava Gardner what she saw in Frank Sinatra adding,"He's a 119 pound has been." She responded, "And 19 pounds is his dick!" One might say the same about HungSchmuck. He's short and thin, although nicely defined. Great guy all around. I'm a fan.

In the late 80's, when living in DC, I went to Provincetown for a weekend with a group of friends. Prurient interest led me to watch the second episode. Given the original movie’s appeal to gay audiences, and the storyline opportunities prison presented, I hoped for a little something. All I saw was one incidental dick shot at a pool party. 😞 In fact, asked about whether he did guys, the Julian character replies, ”Not my thing.”

I'm the same age and versatile. I only hire tops. That's because I can hook up with younger bottoms, especially since I'm rather hung. But there is competition for tops. Have you considered a bathhouse or sex parties? During the decades-long HIV scare I never considered them. However, with Prep and U=U, they are an opportunity for older guys to play. At a venue like Clubhouse II or resorts in Palm Springs and Fort Lauderdale you will find a mix, admittedly older, of tops, versatile and bottoms. If you are fixated on only younger guys you may be disappointed.

Having visited Akyreyri, I would guess he was traveling with someone, perhaps a client. There were only 2 or 3 on grndr so there couldn't have been much of a market.

Luv2play is right about Tony Serrano. It's been some years but I did meet and very much enjoy him. I also had a great time with Marco Napoli. Although he's proudly Italian-American, he's not the type I described, which admittedly may be a result of the passage of time. Nick Capra has that vibe. I'd take a chance on him but don't believe he's escorting or traveling.

An 8 part series begins Sunday on Showtime. I viewed a brief trailer and Jon Bernthal seems a far cry from Richard Gere. It will be interesting to see if this version incorporates gay escorting.

Pardon the pun, but he's tops in all categories: appearance; personality; and performance. It's been a while (Pre-Covid) but I believe his travel schedule is affected by his regular job.
