Thank you for your points, Nate. In addition to the cold factor, some of the clubs we visited like, Ziegfild's and Secrets, have closed. Perhaps Florida is a better venue.

There was an East Coast version of the Palm Springs gathering in Washington, DC. It occurred over the MLK weekend. It coincided with Mid-Atlantic Leather, which is smaller version of Chicago's IML. I went twice pre-Covid. We filled a few tables at a Sunday brunch, and a smaller group had dinner one night at Annie's.

First inquiry was November 2024. Any updates?

Thank you all for the input. Those who visit the area may be interested to learn that the Calypso Inn has closed. It was admittedly in need of some TLC but Wesley the owner was a sweetheart. And the rates were the best around. I wonder if it will reopen as a men's resort or become condos? I called Solstice and spoke with the owner Jim. He was lovely but sold out. So too was Cabanas, BTW. Back To Ed Lugo. I guess September is late for booking a February trip.

First inkling was when I went to see Tarzan in High School. My friends were all revved up about Bo Derek. I however, couldn't take my eyes off of Myles O'Keefe.

I'm planning a February trip to WM. I have stayed at Calypso Inn and Ed Lugo Resort, each of which is easy walking distance to the clubs and bars. Some friends have recommended Cabanas, even though its a bit farther from the town center. I would appreciate any feedback about Cabanas that COM members can offer. Does the environment offset the distance? Thanks

Sniffies is good for for group action and play parties. There are some reliable regulars who host them. Often there's a request for a small donation to cover the hotel cost. For one on one hookups, it can't compete with Grindr or Scruff. I generally use the latter two when traveling. The more detailed profiles and chance to chat weed out the flakes and druggies.

What does it mean to Buddy List a provider? I see the link on RM and have noted that some forum members mention buddy listing someone. Thanks for any insights.

However, after he came we chatted a little bit. He then told me that unless he got another call, he was done for the night. He proceeded to get hard and return to my now enlarged ass for another try. He didn't come again but I couldn't say no because I didn't know when I'd see the likes of him again. Some weeks later he texted me and recommended a Venezuelan friend who was coming to Boston. While not in his league, and more versatile, he was a keeper and we met a few times. He has sadly, disappeared. A few years later, I saw Miguel's ad on Rentmasseur or masseurfinder. I texted him with a photo and reminded him of our years ago meeting. He replied that he was now a trained masseur, legit only. I was still game but we couldn't connect during his short visit.

On Sunday of Labor Day weekend my friends' cookout was a total washout. While gathered in their basement den, to much amusement, they produced boxed copies of 1990's VHS tapes. They haven't thrown them out even though they don't have a VHS player. Those of us old enough to recall them confessed to our crushes. I was reminded of my attraction (obsession?) to Tom Steele. I think he only made a couple of videos. Remembering a prior thread in which forum members who had hired Max Grand relayed their experiences, I was wondering if Tom Steele ever escorted? And of course, if anyone here met him?
