  1. I always question the "re-make" of film classics. I could count the successes on one hand.
  2. People want more control over their personal time. A text message may be answered within 24hours and be considered appropriate, where a phone call is often picked up immediately at a moment in time which isn't ideal. So I've gotten in the habit of texting people a request to call me and vice-versa.
  3. Because you weren't. That's the whole point of a vocational high school. Obviously you don't have counselors for college applications in a school where everyone has declared they aren't going to college. You would have needed to declare you wanted a change back to academics by your Junior year. Water under the bridge at this point.
  4. Grindr hook up. Gave me the old Tennessee Williams line "relying on the kindness of strangers". So I gave him some cash. Not a lot but not a little. The encounter was only rewarding because I found him to be handsome and sexy looking, but he lacks in any real professional sexual skills other than liking to get pounded hard, and being good with dirty talk. Hook up was.ok / not great. Wouldn't repeat. But then I also didn't give him $1000 for the honor of his company.
  5. Exactly. Need to find your "tribe". I was a Lambda Chi. No hazing / great parties / laid back mix of guys . Everything from pot heads to Army ROTC. Even though we were officially a "Christian" organization 1/4 of the guys were Jewish. The consistent quality was that everyone had everyone's back 100%. The rituals leading up to membership assured that only the most dedicated personalities made it into the house as Brothers. I really enjoyed having such close friends from so many different backgrounds and viewpoints
  6. That's why high schools have guidance counselors. My parents weren't college graduates so obviously they couldn't help me navigate. Thanks to my counselors and teachers in high school I got accepted to a great school with tens of thousands in student aid. Your parents are in charge of making you a good person and teaching you to wipe your ass, not getting you into college.
  7. Obviously, this question is broadly posed For many, it's a complete waste of time. But there are many careers that require a solid college education. I think the biggest waste of cash is students who attend high-cost, name-brand schools and then take bull*hit classes aiming for a moderate salary career. Community colleges and/or State University education suffices in most "normal" jobs. The other question is whether most students are ready for college at the end of High School. I did a gap year. Best decision I could have made.
  8. He's not a ripped Instagram.model, but he's nice looking with a nice body. I wouldn't describe him as "average" if you like the bro-next-door look. What is average is his performance. Not worth the high (and sometimes absurd) price. I met him on Grindr so the transaction was handled very differently and therfore not crazy like he seems to be quoting others. Just asked me to "help him out ", didn't demand I contribute to his college education.
  9. I am still close with at least half the guys in my house.
  10. He also has no intuition for sexy-time. Total waste of money. It's a shame because he is a nice looking fellow and pleasant enough...but I've never.met anyone else just so awful at their job..
  11. Yummy. But the vague profile and limited photos make me doubt the validity of the profile.
  12. Same here. Amazing.experience if you pick the right group of guys.
  13. He seems to have a floating scale.
  14. In my experience ...guys who have sex with men yet identify ad "straight" are referring to their romantic life, not necessarily their sex life. I've been with a lot of married men. Always eager to take it up the ass and swallow a load but never much delving into anything near a romantic encounter like a kiss.
  15. Oh my. Yet a other victim of a successful "hustler". It was "pay-what-you-want" not don't pay me. This wasn't a relationship it was a long played hustle. Sorry you were hurt. I happens to people all the time. A topic of conversation here more than once.
  16. No one is likely to deny that. But some mistake "feeling" desired as actually BEING desired.
  17. There is no intellectual dialogue in the Ivy League anymore. It's all symbolism and emotional hijacking of young peoples minds. They tell you WHAT to think, not HOW to think. Clearly this woman's academic achievements were an afterthought because it didn't matter.
  18. Email gives you an easy and discreet alter-ego method of communication for "down-low" older gentlemen.
  19. Epstein's power and wealth were heavily reliant on blackmailing important people by getting them to indulge in the lowest form of adult entertainment. That list will be so heavily redacted there will be few bits of names left in a field of lines crossed out in black magic-marker
  20. Girls have gotten better at sucking dick over the last few decades. Glory holes were more common in days gone by when women didn't put out before marriage (or at minimum serious relationships). One of my high school classmates swears he serviced several of our top athletes who dated "good girls" and who later married them but these guys wanted to get off in the meanwhile. Many of the anonymous dicks you all sucked at public toilets and bookstores were attached to guys who generally identified as straight. These days women are more inclined to be an easy lay and an even more easy b.j...so your supply of hungry tops has been depleted.
  21. Considering most providers wouldn't fuck you if you weren't paying them, it's a good assumption that more than a few need some help keeping it up. That said....no one could possibly know how many as no one is going to announce their performamce limitations.
  22. My "search" filters are always set to 30 or less for escort. 35 or less for masseur.
  23. A friend bought tickets to her NYC performance. Said the show was scheduled for 8:30pm and she didn't go on stage until 11:00pm. Doesn't sound professional to me, but then I've never been a fan.
  24. I remember Madonna Ciccone for making a lot of money considering her minor talent as a singer. She has always surrounded herself with creative people who actually have talent. The production value of the shows reputedly make up for her limited vocal skills. Outside the environment of pyrotechnics, costume and choreography, the woman literally needed to take months of voice lessons to manage the film role of Evita Peron and even then, she embarrassed herself when paired against Antonio Banderas who's performance blew her out of the water (and no one even knew that Antonio could sing or dance, being known only as an actor) !
