  1. OK. But maybe a little research will change your mind, because it is an often referenced psychological analysis of homosexual behavior. "Born-this-way" is political/ not scientific
  2. Yes. I appreciate hearing other people's experiences as mine is, of course, anecdotal. I would, however say I find the subject fascinating so I have had more than a few conversations on the topic..and I know a LOT of bisexual men with children. When I have the opportunity to chat with gay men I always try to wind the conversation in a direction to inquire about their relationship with their father. So my opinion is not based on a gigantic research project but it is based on 30 years of observations within my own social circles. Which in NYC are somewhat multicultural and economically varied. I suppose it is possible to be bisexual and make the same mistakes your own father made. I know my boys had all the love and affection a child could get because I suffered a distant father myself.
  3. "Proposotioned" by WHAT ?
  4. Blowbuddies is a little TOO "diverse" for MY tastes. I'm not into bears or daddies and the venue tends to start there and descend quickly to just old and fat. I spent the hour pushing people away because I was the only fit man I'm attendance the night I visited. Tried again years later and left quickly, having suffered the same result. If you LIKE hairy bears then it's probably fun for you. There is a lot of activity as people seem to get down to business pretty quickly.
  5. Yes @Lucky. As much as you think people with differences in philosophical viewpoints are stupid, there ARE people who can respect that people are just different. Different viewpoints borne from different life experiences. In this case, I grew up middle class with aspirations to be able to enjoy the services that I observed were afforded the upper middle class. As I grew older, the world has changed and even the "uppers" are subjected to help-yourself attitude in retail. But i didn't work this hard to do self service, so I don't. I won't bully anyone to get it but I do admit to acting confused that I should be expected to do so. 😜
  6. It's rare for a homosexual to have a bisexual father. If this story is true (if)...then you've uncovered a sexual unicorn. 99% of the gay men I've met in my life have fathers who are emotionally unavailable either through extreme layers of machismo or cultural norms that distance the father from parental roles. I would expect a bisexual man to NOT make that mistake with his children, since that bisexuality is often a remnant of his own earning for a male intimacy he was denied in childhood.
  7. Lol. Someone would have to be pretty naive to think a well known pop star is doing massage on the side.
  8. Do people still use A4A ? I haven't used that to hook up since the early 2000's. And the pro section ALWAYS seemed more full of con-artists than actual pros.
  9. Do people change their sexual tastes over the years ? My preferences haven't budged since the 80s.
  10. Well...the "ugly American" is one who demands that Europeans comply with their own American standards. In this case the idea of self-service is already an ugly American invention so my expectations were the opposite. (Also I wasn't demanding all....in these instances I just act like I'm mentally disabled). Blind, elderly and stupid people still get help. 😉
  11. I don't even pump my own gas. So I refuse to pack my own groceries. I was in London this summer and jumped into a market from some fruit. They ONLY had a self check out (with a little glass gate that wouldnt let you out without scanning your receipt). So when I want service, I just act like I just got off the short bus. I deliberately fucked up the scanner over and over until someone came and took care of my order for me. Then I looked around and said where's the bag ( they charge for bags ). The attendant wanted rid of me by than and didn't bother charging me for the bag. I made him hold it while I place my grapes inside. 🍇 'fuck 'em. I'm not getting paid to work in the store.
  12. I keep profiles "buddy listed" that I found interesting ( and some who've been vetted here ). Since many of these guys travel around. I check the list to see if anyone I've spotted before is visiting the same location where I am too. Saves time digging through a lot of useless profiles. I believe i have about 50 profiles tagged as "worthy of a try".
  13. I am happy that they avoided the myth that Diana was an innocent victim. Her mental illness contributed to much of her unhappiness. Not to say the royal family are the easiest or that the marriage was the best. But she was far from innocent. I also like that they are portraying William as being conscious of her troubles while Harry is oblivious. As adults, the two have different memories of the same events. Leading to much tension between them and their wives.
  14. CDC is not indicating an uptick in cases in the US. ( see chart below) indicating a low point in the infection rate in the US.
  15. Yes ! I have a building in Harlem where a bunch of Puerto Ricans live. No matter how many times I've told them to NOT dump grease and paper towels down the drain or in the toilet...the sewer backs up at least twice a year. Blocked with grease and paper towels. They just don't care.
  16. I've noticed over the years that a masseur offering a two hour erotic session will respect the two hour schedule while an escort will typically assume the session is over once everyone's dumped their load. To prevent this habit from cutting into your two hours, you need to be very specific about your desires for what happens after your orgasm. Whether it's bringing them to orgasm to cuddling to having a glass of wine...you need to give guidance, since some guys go for half an hour, drop a load, zip up and leave.
  17. Most definitely. Not only is San Diego expensive - it's incredibly dull. Leaving NYC to San Diego for an escort makes little to no sense unless they are filling some niche gap in the market that they've discovered. As others have mentioned, a hard-limit of "no kissing" is going to reduce your audience. Other factors (age, body-type & looks) are always limiting factors. Since@socurious doesn't have a profile anywhere so I can't determine what other factors may be limiting his audience, but my guess is that the audience is going to be chopped down to a few guys no matter where they travel.
  18. I own several rental properties. Those with an abundance of single women tenants always need more frequent plumbing maintenence. It's unbelievable the amount of crap that women flush down their toilet.
  19. You don't want oil/creme on your underwear so ALWAYS undress. If the masseur wants to work without nudity he will drape you with a towel. I've never been to any spa with a male masseur that asked me to leave my underwear on.
  20. To me...doing the math. I would say it's Dallas and San Diego that have the saturated markets. NOT NYC. There's a bigger gay/bi community in New York than those other two cities and the tourism is FAR more busy so by comparison 300 is a minimal number to serve the huge tourist industry in NYC alone.
  21. Completely. We must go through 20 million plastic food containers a day but its the straws that will end the planet. Nothing makes sense here
  22. Yummy 😋
  23. Until PreP is proven 100% effective for everyone, there IS still a bullet in the revolver. The statistics for the general public are still between 96% and 98% effective. Even in perfect controlled lab results it's 99%. So there's always a small chance you'll be the unlucky guy who gets that bullet....so it IS somewhat reassuring to be under the impression your partner is on PreP as well.
