I've known people in their 20s who act like they're in their 60's, and people over 100 who also act like they're in their 60s.  So many factors come into play - genetics, environment, financial resources, luck.  Hard to find anyone in their 90s and beyond who didn't benefit from at least a couple of those factors.   When I was young I thought that 60 was ancient, but that might be because back in the 80s older people acted older than they do today.  Hairstyles, clothing, activities - it seems like they wanted to fit the image of a senior.  Not today - octogenarians posing in Playboy, more people able to access anti-aging procedures, and maybe most important - the general erosion of respect that younger people once paid to those who are older may be another reason why many seniors try to stay as young as possible.  Old age was once something that was attained and embraced, but now it is shunned and forced into the geriatric closet.

There's a remedy for that - getting there yourself.

It definitely depends on how old you are.
When I was 20 I met a guy who told me he was 29, and I already felt he was from another generation. After 2 months of  beautiful romance he "confessed" me that he was 37 years old. Apart from being pissed that he had lied to me for 2 months, I was devastated at the idea of having loved, being very attached to and having had sex daily with an old man. 😄
Anyway, we lasted for almost 5 years together.
He passed away last year at 79.

65? Hell, I consider 60 being elderly or old aged.

I hired Rainer a couple of months ago while he was in town. I liked the experience he provided. Maybe a slight short on the time, but his massage, naked body and sexy vibe made up for it. I didn't notice any odor at all. I'd hire again.

I know Jeremy is well liked on here but I was disappointed.  I found him to be distant and sufficiently disengaged to not consider going back.  His massage skills were just adequate.  His other, highly impressive attribute, may be enough for some others however.

I am still looking for a Fort Lauderdale LMT who delivers a sensual experience, which seems to be as hard to find as the Loch Ness monster.

I liked S2E1. It was very good imo. I like Jennifer Coolidge (Tanya) and her whiny voice too. Her facial expressions while she was getting fucked by her hot daddy husband was hysterical. Also looking forward to more shots of Theo James's big dick.

Wow! The Last of Us (episode 3) was sooo well done. Murray Bartlett and Nick Offerman give terrific performances as two men falling in love and showing what love really is. Cried like a baby. 😭

Overrated was La Sagrada Familia. The most boring church I have stepped in.  Underrated is Independence Hall, which is right in my back yard. It's interesting how small it is, and yet it stokes emotions when viewing the rooms/tables and chairs as they were in 18th century.

I watched Episodes 1 and 2 before watching this in order to get some context.  While it was not absolutely necessary, it did allow for greater understanding and clarification of the connections of the characters.  It was a very tender story and verified what I believe to be true, that your can find love even if you are not looking for it.  Nick Offerman did a very nice job in bringing to life a man who needed no one to a man who could not live without some one.  I was glad to see Murray Barlett leaving the chaos of Armand his  White Lotus role and the stereotypical allure of a hot gay man he played in Looking to present this fully developed gay character in a nuanced and ultimately heart breaking role.  In the post show discussion, one of the interviewees mentions that he had seen the episode at least two hundred times and cried each time.  I can see why that it.
    Emmy nominations for both men.

Just got back from a 5 day vacay in PV. Loved it! GAY, GAY, GAY. The gay beach was fantastic with large waves and  beautiful men.  I've never been to Costa Rica, but PV is definitely a must visit.

I stayed at the Almar resort.  It's right next door to Blue and Green chairs. It's a really nice place with cabanas/infinity pool, etc. Mantamar (beach club) is right on the beach in front. The only negative for me was the Almar bar and massage staff were too attentive, constantly asking if you wanted a massage/drink, etc. The Almar rooms are very nice and the room attendants kept them clean and well stocked.

Interesting perspective. I have straight friends that go to Costa Rica for yoga retreats, but none of my gay friends go there. Thanks for the info.

I'm married with kids, but bisexual, so I am conscious of the gay scene, even when I'm not directly participating. Costa Rica's tourism is primarily resorts on the beach. Great for a couple's get away but there is no access to any kind of social scene outside the resort itself.  The only gay hotels are tiny little guest house situations where at most you'll be there with a handful of other guys.  The Capitol city is in the middle of the country far away from the beaches and the gay scene there is nothing to speak of, not to mention San Jose' is sort of a shit-hole of a city. They even have road signs near the downtown area warning you that you are entering a slum.
Puerto Vallarta is great. I actually started going there many years ago when I was single and traveling with gay friends. Definitely lots of options for the gay traveler in the "Zona Romantica". Food scene is great, weather is great. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.  Leave Costa Rica for when you're old and you just want to sit quietly and hold hands on the beach. 😉
