Rockey
Wow! The Last of Us (episode 3) was sooo well done. Murray Bartlett and Nick Offerman give terrific performances as two men falling in love and showing what love really is. Cried like a baby. 😭 AceHardware, thomas, MikeBiDude and 1 other 3
+ EVdude
Yes, even if you’re not into this series and this genre, episode 3 is almost like a stand alone movie. They got me at the first kiss. Edited February 2, 2023 by EVdude Rockey and AceHardware

+ purplekow
I watched Episodes 1 and 2 before watching this in order to get some context. While it was not absolutely necessary, it did allow for greater understanding and clarification of the connections of the characters. It was a very tender story and verified what I believe to be true, that your can find love even if you are not looking for it. Nick Offerman did a very nice job in bringing to life a man who needed no one to a man who could not live without some one. I was glad to see Murray Barlett leaving the chaos of Armand his White Lotus role and the stereotypical allure of a hot gay man he played in Looking to present this fully developed gay character in a nuanced and ultimately heart breaking role. In the post show discussion, one of the interviewees mentions that he had seen the episode at least two hundred times and cried each time. I can see why that it. Emmy nominations for both men.
