Not me. I love the first ten seasons or so, but haven't watched a new episode in years.

That scene was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread. It's hilarious! And I do it Archie's way, but not because he said so.

Yes, the only other time I saw Carol Channing in person was in "Legends!" when she was surprisingly better than Mary Martin.

I saw her in San Diego during the mid-90's revival of "Hello, Dolly". She was fantastic, and it was such a thrill seeing her in person!

Wayne and I were also there for her 95th (!!) birthday celebration at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert a couple of years ago.

It was a wonderful star-studded tribute, but she only made a brief appearance at the end, from one of the front rows in the audience.

Does anyone know for a fact that CC was actually full this year during the party?

They told us they were full when we checked in last weekend, but we didn't get a signed affidavit or anything like that.

I called Inndulge and learned that right now they are only about 35 % full for that weekend. The reason that message came up is it's considered a holiday weekend due to Coachella, so they have a minimum 4 night stay. When I went online and added a 4th night - presto! - I got a bunch of options. Although having to stay 4 nights may not be everybody's preference. Also, it's more expensive. The least expensive I got for 4 nights at Inndulge was $900, whereas when I went online for CC yesterday I could get a Studio King on the pool level for $300 for 3 nights.

If you call Canyon Club to book a room for that weekend, you can get four nights for $300, versus the $900 that Inndulge is apparently charging for those same four nights. Wayne and I have stayed at Inndulge, and it's a nice resort. It's certainly nicer than Canyon Club. But in my opinion, it's not three times as nice.

Also, unlike Inndulge, Canyon Club is not considering that weekend a holiday weekend. If they were, Wayne and I wouldn't have gotten our fourth night free. So Canyon Club might be a better option for those who can't stay four nights. Some of the rooms at Canyon Club are pretty nice, albeit more expensive.

make reservations now!....you can cancel later if you want......Canyon Club is among the least expensive and may have a four-nights-for-the-price-of-three deal (ask).....they certainly do NOT have a concierge, though

Wayne and I booked four nights for next year, and got the fourth night free. You'll need to call them to make the reservation, instead of booking online.

I can’t imagine going nude, lol. I have a 31/32 waist and work out daily, but I still feel weird about it.

It takes some getting used to, certainly. My first trip to a clothing optional resort was back in the mid 90's, with my ex. The first day or two we were there, I couldn't go nude at all. Eventually I was able to go nude while in the pool, but still had to cover up when I got out. After that, I was able to lie on a pool chair nude, but still had to cover up when walking around. I was still at that point when Wayne and I started staying at the PS resorts on a regular basis, about nine years ago. But we started going so frequently that before too long, I was able to walk around the resort nude as well. And now, of course, I absolutely love it.

There were plenty of guys last weekend who didn't go nude, as far as I saw. And then there were guys like me who ran around naked whenever possible.

It's never too soon!! When I was checking us out of Canyon Club on Monday, I also booked our room for next year's festivities. Can't wait!!

Yup. I like to use my photo as my avatar before the PS weekend, hoping people there will recognize me.

However, my choice to show my photo here on this forum doesn't mean I want it shown on someone else's blog.

That man's body is a work of art. And the fact that he's such a nice guy makes him even hotter, if that's actually possible.

I'm so sorry this happened, and so relieved that you're both okay, or will be.
