In the past few months the moderators have been receiving several reports on “Personal Attacks”. These reports are reviewed and, if action is necessary, a moderator’s note is posted or we contact the member through an alert or warning. Our actions will not be  discussed on the boards but will be kept on file for future reference. 
We want every member to feel comfortable when posting. So, if you feel you’re getting personally attacked for your messages, just report it. Don’t wait till it gets out of hand. Some have asked me about former moderator @Daverwr. I was in contact with him. He wrote about a crippling condition he had and using his hands was almost impossible. I’ve sent recent emails but haven’t heard back.

Impressive new show at the Met bringing together two friends and sometimes rivals. Especially nice having just come from Paris and the d’Orsay where a number of works were missing. Nice to catch up with them on home turf.

These are the interest rates on Treasury paper this day.  Rates are rising, especially the longer maturities, without the Fed taking action.  Economists are calling this the "term premium" because investors want to be compensated more for unknown risks, the largest risk being the rising national debt.  You can get 5.6% on a 6-month T-Bill and in a high tax state that's equivalent to about a 6% CD.
