  1. As we approach the 2nd Anniversary of @Guy Fawkes passing it’s a good time to ask yourself the question: If anything happened to me, who would know?

@Guy Fawkes lived alone. No neighbor or friend knew he was in need of help. After not hearing from him for a couple of days, the police were called to do a Wellness Check. Sadly, he was found on the floor barely alive and, a month later, passed away

The outcome might have been different had he been found sooner. For those of you who live alone do you have a contact person who would realize something might be wrong if they didn’t hear from you? If there is one thing we can learn for this loss its the importance of having that contact person.

    RIP: @Guy Fawkes

Have you ever chatted with other members here, read something that they wrote, or maybe just because of their name, and wanted to meet them?

If you have, have you ever ended up meeting someone from here?

@Exploritor, You raised a good question and received many positive answers. Yes, members have been meeting up since the site started.

The 1st member I met was @jackhammer91406, some 20 years ago. He was visiting NY and posted that he was taking in a show at the Gaiety. I contacted him and arranged to meet. @foxy, another member & now a close friend, also joined us.  I’ve met numerous members from attending the Gaiety and, every Sunday, @ the 20 Club. Some have become close friends. We had a group that traveled together to Montreal, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale etc to take in the different strip clubs. Just this past weekend I was in Fort Lauderdale to meet a couple of members.

Your location has a lot to do with meeting others. Whenever @Lucky or @glutes are in NYC I can always expect to hear from them.

Good luck to you and, if you’re ever in NYC, send a PM.

  4. Although I had read the plot for this musical I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to be performed. The story is a bit odd but it captivated my attention. A cast of 9 talented actors who sing, dance, and ice skate. The crazy Aunt is comic relief and very funny!  The play has a wonderful ending that will make you either cry or smile. The performance I saw was almost full.

  5. I’m sure there are many ways to prepare salmon but here’s the recipe I follow.

This is an easy recipe to prepare a dinner for one  and a quick  cleanup.

    Preheat oven to 400°

1/2 lb Fresh Salmon placed on enough aluminum foil to cover completely.

Top with:  sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, onions, lemon juice, garlic, and seasoning. I add 2 slices of butter but a couple tablespoons of vegetable oil is fine. Sometimes I  add other vegetables that are in the refrigerator.

Once you’ve added all the ingredients, seal the foil around the salmon and place in a cooking pan and into the oven.

Cook for 25 minutes. When done, keep the salmon and extras in the foil and place on a dish. Open and enjoy! Bon appetite! 😋

From the description you gave of Will, it sounds like the same guy that was at aplus in Medford.  He was very good

@mmrr005, I saw Will today for a massage and asked him about “Aplus in Medford”. He said he never worked there. The Will at 68 Spa in Manhasset gives a good massage and very attentive to your needs. Will only works on weekends.

  7. Over the past couple of years my A1C and Poct Glucose  test results have gone  from borderline to high and back again. My doctor is aggressively treating my diabetes.

For those of you who are on medication(s) which ones are you on, how long have you been on them, and are they helping? I started out  on Metformin with no results. The doctor then added Glipizide and, most recently, Farxiga.

I’ve also met with a dietitian and have made some changes in my diet. I’m an   active person and exercise regularly. I’m not overweight and have no family history of diabetes. Yes, I have lost weight on the Metformin.

I’d appreciate hearing from members who are also diagnosed with diabetes and taking medication.

Anyone been over to 68 Spa in Manhasset lately? Thinking about checking it out today

Went  on Sunday. Called first to see if any masseurs were working. I was told Will works on weekends. I had him once before and was very satisfied with his massage and technique. He’s a 29yo Asian, nice guy. Wore his hat and face mask throughout the massage. He’s very accommodating and knows what men are looking for. Just ask. I’ll see him again.

Not sure how this place survives. I was the only customer there. Last time I went I had Chris. I won’t recommend him.

  9. I enjoyed “MJ The Musical” so much the first time that I decided to see it again.

This time I took the bf for his birthday. Purchased, well in advance, 3rd row orchestra seats, aka, within spitting range!

Seeing a show for the 2nd time gives you more of an opportunity  to focus on the other cast members and not just Tony winner Myles Frost. I enjoyed it even more this time. Yes, most of the cast is the original and nothing in the production has changed. In addition to the excellent cast, I was  impressed by the light show that accompanied the songs/dancing and the band on stage and the orchestra under the stage. The Thriller number was definitely a show stopper.

I saw a Wednesday evening performance after the actors already completed a matinee.  I was  impressed with their energy and stamina. It’s a long show yet no one showed any signs of slowing down. This performance was sold out as I’m sure the others are too.

For those of you who keep a savings account, check out the new CD rates at Citibank. Effective 8/9-8/15.

    1 year 2.50%
1 year no penalty for early withdrawal 1.50%
    18 month 2.75%

Was at Citibank today checking out the new CD rates.

    12 month CD 4.15%
12 month no penalty CD 3.40%

Blackrock offers a 4.11% money market. That’s a flexible rate. I went with this one.

  11. Strip Club Forum members,

Can you help in updating the clubs in the FAQ? Check it out and if you have any current information please share. Some clubs haven’t been updated in several years and, sadly, some are now closed. If you know of a club not reviewed please introduce a thread on it. Try to follow the previous format by posting the club’s name, location, website, and a review of what’s available to the customers.

The FAQ has been very helpful to members who travel to different locations and are looking for strip club entertainment. Thanks to the magic of @RadioRob the threads in the FAQ are not subject to the 2 year no reply rule. Any thread in the FAQ can be replied to.

Any help you can give will be most appreciated. 👍🏼 Reading some of the old club reviews has brought back so many memories.

Update: I’ve now been to Healthy Spa 68. Each time I went I had a new masseur. Last week I had Tom, he’s no longer there and today I had Will, a young slim Asian who just started yesterday. He gave a very thorough massage not a lame body rub. I enjoyed the touch of his hands and hope to see him again.

I like the Spa’s location. It’s across the street from the Manhasset train station and above the dry cleaners. Massage Is $60 for an hour.  Since they only have 1 masseur, it’s best to call in advance to see if he’s working.

Healthy Spa 68 in Manhasset, Long Island is struggling. Today, business was so slow that the masseur locked the door to the spa as no one was coming.

Before I go I always call to check if there’s a masseur working as there are a couple of ladies who run the place and also give massages. I’ve been there a few times and always had  a new masseur. They all seem to leave after a week. Fortunately, most of the time  it works out and the massage/body rub is satisfying. Today,  I had a 26 yo Asian named Chris. A  nice guy who gave an ok body rub.

The location is ideal for me but next time I’ll be going back to the spa in Mineola.
