Are bank CD rates starting to drop?

I have a CD coming due and asked the Citibank agent what the best rate is. He said 5.25% for 7 months. That’s down from 5.50%. Rates at Citibank are announced every Tuesday.  

Not bad:

Citibank is offering a 5.50% promotional CD interest rate for 6 months with a deposit of $100,000 or more. Earn 5% with less than 100,000.

Gentlemen, Let’s return to the topic and not turn this into a gun debate. 

I also saw “& Juliet” and enjoyed it very much. It’s a funny & creative story on Juliet’s life had she not killed herself.

It’s a lively production with a very likable and youthful cast. The role of William Shakespeare, played by Austin Scott (Hamilton), was outstanding. The fight with his wife Anne over who controls the quill pen was a hoot. 

The blind casting for this show worked. Young Romeo was hot looking, however, the very talented Juliet, played by Lorna Courtney, looked old for this teenage part. 

The jukebox music is very current and recognizable, no original songs. The orchestra comes out of the pit and onto the stage for the curtain call. And, yes, be prepared to dance. 

The huge amount of confetti was impressive and glittered in the stage lights. When I got home I still had confetti on me. 

Was very lucky with day of tickets. Went to TKTS and got center orchestra row F. Cost: $100.

Although “& Juliet” was nominated for several Tony awards, surprisingly, it didn’t win any. It’s been playing on Broadway for about a year.

Gentlemen, Let’s stay on topic. 

Got a massage today at Healthy 68 Spa in Manhasset. When I called to make an appointment I was told Will, who I’ve had before, was working. When I arrived a new masseur greeted me and said his name is Will. The old Will no longer works there. 

At first I was disappointed as this Will wasn’t that attractive or in good shape. However, when we got down to business he gives a good solid massage. He has strong hands and spent enough time focusing on all the different areas. 

The last 10 minutes were very sensual. He’s most accommodating and won’t finish till you’re satisfied. Btw, Will is the only masseur working there. Mainly Asian women working. $60 + tip for 1hr.

@Mike_Scarn, Yes, it’s still open but I haven’t been to Bliss in awhile. My concern was only 1 masseur available. At the time I was going the weekday masseur wasn’t that good but the weekend guy was better.  I wrote reviews of this back when I last went. You’d need to do a search to find them. 

Call 1st to check if he’s there.
