  1. Apparently, I don’t give off cop vibes, I've never been asked if I am one.
  2. I'll echo what many have already said: your health is your responsibility, no one else’s. Relying on a stranger’s claim about their health status isn’t a smart way to protect yourself. Let me give you an example. There’s a local provider who’s been around for a few years. His ads on both RMass and RMen used to state his status as: Positive, undetectable on ART. Suddenly, his RMass ad stopped mentioning his status and the one on RMen changed to: Negative, on PrEP. I guess miracles do happen. The point is: don’t shift the responsibility for your health onto someone else. That’s a risk that may not end well. P.S. No, I will not name the provider.
  3. Never pay up front. Never pay a deposit.
  4. I honestly have no idea. I haven’t had any communication with either of them. What caught my eye is that their ad descriptions are nearly identical. Makes me wonder if this is going to become a new trend on RM.
  5. Here’s another profile with almost the exact same description. https://rent.men/Gulivert_sour
  6. Let’s break it down: Including a hyperlink to a provider’s RentMen profile (e.g., rentmen.eu/username) that leads to publicly accessible content does not constitute copyright infringement under current U.S. law. Hyperlinking simply directs users to the original source and does not reproduce any protected material. The embedded image, however, could be a different matter. Embedding the provider’s profile photo could potentially constitute infringement, IF the provider actually owns the copyright. I emphasize “if” because platforms like RentMen typically have terms of service that grant them a license or even ownership over uploaded content, which complicates individual ownership claims. Additionally, the forum could argue fair use (17 U.S.C. § 107) if the image was used for criticism, commentary, or review (e.g., discussing the provider’s services). Factors favoring fair use include: Non-commercial, critical review (if the forum is non-profit or user-driven) and the amount used. A single profile picture is a small portion of the provider’s profile. As you mentioned, the real motivation behind the claim seems to be suppressing negative feedback. This makes the copyright argument appear more like a pressure tactic than a solid legal claim, especially without proof of ownership. Requesting that the forum moderator edit the post to remove the embedded image while keeping the hyperlink to the RentMen profile is a reasonable and sufficient response.
  7. https://rentmasseur.com/JOSEPHRELAX I believe I have seen these pictures before. Any 411?.
  8. It was an incall. I always try to keep first meets that way. If the provider can’t host, I’ll get a hotel room. In this particular case, he was traveling so I went to his hotel. Didn’t even get past the door. He fed me some nonsense about privacy, so I walked away. The worst part? Besides 45 min. drive each way, he was actually pretty good looking.
  9. Just once. The provider was using someone else’s photos. Naturally, no payment was made.
  10. I keep it simple: if their username includes a name, I use that. If not, I just ask how they’d like to be addressed. Whatever they prefer is fine with me, even if I happen to learn their real name while checking them out.
  11. Here is a past thread: https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/137699-why-is-it-the-same-rentmen-of-the-day-guys-week-after-week-but-each-time-i-check-can’t-seem-to-find-availability/ Also from the RMen website:
  12. He is cute but with an account created on 04 Aug 2023 and not a single review, he would not be my choice for $1K.
  13. I would translate “Complacent” as: Willing to please.
  14. All those types of contracts typically include a clause about "indecent, offensive, or immoral behavior," or something similar. I'm fairly certain that's the clause they're invoking in this case.
  15. I'm really sorry this happened to you. That said, try to see it this way, you definitely dodged a bullet. It’s clear this was an unprofessional provider, so while it's completely valid to feel hurt or disappointed, you ultimately saved yourself time, money, and a potentially terrible in person experience.
  16. I’m guessing that with the new travel ban placed on Venezuelan and Cuban citizens, we’ll see a sharp drop on new providers from those particular countries. I have the feeling that Colombia might be next.
  17. As much as I’d love the convenience of getting a single shot once a year instead of taking a daily pill, I do wonder how that might impact the spread of other STDs. Realistically, how many people would continue getting tested regularly if it’s no longer tied to a routine prescription refill? Let’s be honest, if regular testing weren’t a requirement for PrEP, a lot of people probably wouldn’t feel the need to do it as often.
  18. Most of my friends, especially long time friends, are around my age. Lately, though, I’ve found it easier to connect with people who are 10 to 20 years younger. I’m very active and in pretty decent shape, so I enjoy doing things that many people my age have moved away from. That said, I’m not trying to do everything younger guys do. For example, you mentioned changing a tire, sure, I can do it, but I just don’t care to do it. All my cars have run-flat tires for that exact reason, I just don’t want to deal with it. I still enjoy going out at night, but I admit it takes me a bit longer to bounce back the next morning. And while I’m up for the fun, I’m not a fan of driving at night, my eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I still enjoy spending time with friends my age, but I’ve found it easier lately to connect and make new friends who are 10 to 20 years younger.
  19. I ran into that same issue last year. I prefer to get my testing done before visiting the doctor to renew my PrEP/Doxy prescriptions. Now I use stdcheck.com, and it’s been hassle free.
  20. I’m not shitting on anyone. A question was asked and I simply gave an answer. Nothing more, nothing less.
  21. Any recent experience?.
