While I’m still actively hiring, I have to agree with @Pensant. The drop in quality lately has been pretty discouraging. Sometimes the amount of time wasted searching and filtering through disappointing experiences honestly makes me feel like giving it up altogether.

According to AI, it’s most likely one of two spots: either Najah’s Desert Oasis Chevron in Essex, California, along historic Route 66 in the Mojave Desert, or the Chevron station in Goffs, California, at the intersection of Route 66 (National Old Trails Road) and Lansefair Road.

A few close friends know that I hire. One of them even knows the specifics, who, where and when, since I share the details with him for safety. He does the same with me, as he also hires. My doctor isn’t aware of the hiring aspect, though I’m pretty sure he assumes it. He does know that I have an active sex life with multiple partners.

providers requesting 5star reviews on RM
+ JamesB replied to + RyanDean's topic in Questions About Hiring
I’ve had several providers ask me to leave a review. If the experience was just “meh” I usually acknowledge the request with a quick emoji and leave it at that without posting anything. Recently, I had a provider bring it up twice before I even left and then follow up again by text afterward. That felt a bit excessive, so I ended up ignoring the message altogether. -
You can always create a profile without showing your face and use a burner number.

I’ve run into the same issue when I’m in Spain. Connecting through a US VPN fixes it. Another workaround that often works is to go to your “My Buddies” list, pick someone in the location you’re interested in, and then select the location from their profile.

“Urgent need” guys with low rates... Legit or scam?
+ JamesB replied to + 7829V's topic in Questions About Hiring
Whenever I hear that sense of “urgency,” my first instinct is to assume it is a scam. Creating pressure to act quickly is a classic tactic, it pushes people to make decisions without thinking things through or asking the right questions. -
Ever ask or been asked to change physical appearance?
+ JamesB replied to Boaxxx's topic in Questions About Hiring
I’ve never asked a provider to change their appearance but I have asked for clarification on how they currently look. Some profiles include a mix of photos showing different styles, like shaved and unshaved body or facial hair, etc. -
I almost forgot to address the OP. If you travel frequently and/or use public WiFi in places like hotels, restaurants or airports, I highly recommend installing 1.1.1.1 + WARP by Cloudflare. It’s one of the best free options for improving your privacy and security online without much hassle or noticeable impact on speed. It helps protect your data from being intercepted on public networks or monitored by your ISP, and it can also get around many basic content filters. That said, it’s not designed specifically for bypassing geo-blocking, even if it occasionally works that way.

Just to clarify, this reflects my experience living in Panama, specifically Panama City. Panama is a strongly Catholic and socially conservative country. Homosexuality has been legal since 2008. (Yes, it was criminalized before that). Same-sex marriage is not recognized and joint adoption by same-sex couples isn’t allowed, though single LGBT individuals can adopt. There are no explicit anti-discrimination laws protecting sexual orientation, although in everyday life, attitudes can be more relaxed than the legal framework might suggest. In fact, you will see clear discrimination against straight people in the service industry. Public displays of affection between same-sex couples are relatively uncommon but that’s also generally true for straight couples. In Panama City and in places like Bocas del Toro, more expressive or flamboyant presentation is typically accepted, though it may draw more attention in other parts of the country. It’s not quite as open or carefree as Western Europe or major U.S. cities but it’s also not particularly restrictive in daily life. One interesting cultural exception is among the Guna people of the San Blas Islands, who recognize a third gender known as “omeggid.” Individuals assigned male at birth who live as women are accepted and integrated naturally. Violence against LGBT individuals is quite rare. Panama City hosts a large and increasingly visible Pride parade every June, which has grown significantly in recent years. Overall, while legal progress has been slow due to religious and conservative influences, social attitudes, especially in urban areas, tend to be more indifferent than hostile. Most Panamanians, in my experience, simply don’t make much of an issue out of someone’s sexual orientation.

I´ve been living part time in Panama for over 15 years and in my experience, most Panamanians could not care less about your sexual orientation.

I can say with 100% certainty that this site is not banned in Panama.

*RM users* How important is having a number there for you?
+ JamesB replied to HotFaceBud's topic in Questions About Hiring
I usually prefer texting, simply because most providers respond faster there than through RM messages. That said, it wouldn’t stop me from reaching out to someone who only uses RM, unless I’m trying to set something up within the next 24 to 48 hours. -
SpaceX IPO June 30th! Any takers?
+ JamesB replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
SpaceX is definitely not a typical IPO. I would avoid jumping into it immediately and consider waiting past the lock-up period This is likely to be a “hot” IPO, with intense media coverage, strong retail demand and Elon Musk’s brand potentially driving a sharp first-day surge. If it were to list in June, the lock-up period would typically expire around December 2026. At that point, insiders, early investors, employees and venture backers, many of whom hold substantial stakes, would be able to sell, which often puts downward pressure on the stock as supply increases. There’s also some speculation that SpaceX could implement a staggered or more flexible lock-up, allowing certain holders to sell earlier, which might add to short-term volatility. At a valuation around $1.75T, the company would be priced for near-perfect execution. Any setbacks, whether delays in Starship, increased competition in satellite services, regulatory hurdles, or a broader market pullback, could lead to a significant correction after the IPO. -
I had that happen to me for the first time about three weeks ago. It was a new provider, profile less than four months old, asking for my full name, address and what I do for a living. WTH???. I just thanked him for his time and wished him a nice day.

Is hiring only for wealthier folks?
+ JamesB replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
Do you need to be wealthy to hire? No. Does it help? Absolutely. -
*When a regular provider stops trying… what do you do?
+ JamesB replied to Tajoki's topic in Questions About Hiring
In my experience, once someone stops putting in the effort, there’s really no turning it around. I know this is going to make me sound like an a$$ but I’m not very inclined to give second chances since I’ve mostly regretted it. At this point, I just move on. -
Are you into Exploration or Regularity?
+ JamesB replied to + PhileasFogg's topic in Questions About Hiring
I much prefer regularity but lately I’ve found myself doing quite a bit of exploring in search of people I can actually be regular with. -

Why does it matter? Providers have personal lives and are entitled to their own preferences when it comes to who they spend time with outside of paid work. Whether that’s a smart business decision is up to them. From a client’s perspective, what really matters is how they perform when you hire them. If anything, it might be worth asking why it feels important to you. Does it affect your ego to know they wouldn’t choose you to hook up for free?

I met Henry back in February. His place is a bit outside the main tourist area but it’s easy enough to find and safe. He’s from Venezuela (The “Las islas Canarias Spain” is pure BS) and shares the space with another masseur. has a clean dedicated area for the massages. He had a RMen profile for about a month but it is gone now. I’d rate his massage a solid B. MT and HE were provided. I’d likely book with him again.
