Or put more crudely, sees clients as nothing more than ATMs. I was going to say human ATMs, but such guys don’t really see us as human.
Calling them providers is also laughable because they really only take. I’ve dealt with those types and if I sense it while attempting to book, it’s a pass. If it turns out I was duped, they generally offer a shitty experience and they’re definitely not a repeat. 

What about possession of control substance?
With that list you just took 50% of providers from your "hiring pool".

Twitter on the other hand is good for finding or learning more about providers, as they can post nudes or adult videos as well as text content that gives you a sense of them as a person.

Not uncommon for some in the profession to have a background like that. Some will even talk about it.
Which is why I don’t blame some providers for wishing anonymity or discretion - and they should therefore respect the same for clients even if driven by different reasons. 
 
 
 
 

I think some of the best times I've had and the most fun for sure have been when I was really into the rentboy (I almost always am since I'm the one reaching out to him, but it has happened where after meeting I realize it was not a good fit) AND when the rentboy was really into me and everything we were doing. It's a very different experience compared to if the rentboy just finds you acceptable and kind of does the minimum with not a ton of passion or even just genuine interest. I tend to go for rentboys in their mid to late 20s, and I am a bit older, so that probably plays a role. Most 24-29 year olds would be willing (for money) to go with a guy in okay shape approaching his late 30s, but only a certain fraction actually really want or enjoy that.

I saw one provider years ago who remembered all the little things I told him during pillow talk and he would ask me about stuff when I saw him next, it made me feel really good, like he was putting in effort to interact with me personally.  He turned out to be kind of crazy though, so no more visits.
Rod Hagen was one of my first experiences like 10 years ago and he was just so friendly and outgoing, it really put me at ease and let me have a great time. I remember him after all these years.

It’s easy. You can cancel by going to Settings > [your AppleID] > subscriptions. Just like Grindr or any other paid app.
Took me under five minutes to download the app, sign up for the free trial, check my number (and some other numbers), and cancel the trial.

I was able to find out the real first name of a provider once because of an online service he used to send me some info. Using just that plus the fact that I knew he had been arrested and the general area and rough time period, I was able to search through public records and find out his full identity and pull his criminal record (had to pay for the criminal record pull, but I used the info I got freely to request it). A couple other rentboy regulars I also was able to look up with just their real first name and pull their criminal records. 
I didn't do anything with the info at all, but I did want to confirm what kinds of charges they were prosecuted for (nothing that concerned me, just possession of controlled substances and DUI, that sort of thing). Nothing violent, no theft or robbery, no fraud.
I guess my point is just to be careful. Depending on the circumstances, even just a real first name can be really revealing.

I'm not too hurting for choice at all (I think as of the latest run there are 73 providers in my city that meet my general search criteria, of course individual inspection will produce many fewer). I think New York is also a bit better than where I am, and I have seen really interesting profiles there, but not on the scale of Cali.
But I also just had the most amazing experience with a rentboy in my city, and I'm confident he'll become my go-to. So it may not really matter for some time 😂.

I typically am looking for PNP specifically. It's definitely possible to do it intermittently but regularly and basically be normal the vast majority of the time. These days it does feel as if it takes a bigger toll on my body than when I was in my late twenties, and I have noticed that many of the more experienced PNP providers really look kind of rundown themselves, even if they're 30yo or so.
Frankly it's so hard to find, at least for me, there's really zero risk of long term dependence. It's just not possible to get regularly enough or in sufficient quantities. And you are very unlikely to overdose on it unless you do something like ingest or bump it, where you could end up taking in much more than you would if inhaling over time and controlling it.
But the reason for using it is that it obviously that it is an experience. It does change how things feel, for the most part in a positive way. The most amazing experiences I've had sexually have been on it.
But in general, yes, I would say it's not for everyone. The most important thing if you do choose to use is to do it somewhere safe, stay hydrated, brush your teeth, and try to eat whatever you can, even though you will have zero appetite and it will be actually quite unenjoyable and a chore to take every bite.
