    1) I mentioned one time the name of my favorite cologne - next time we got together, he was wearing the fragrance- he liked it a lot
    2) Remembering a few tunes that I enjoy and they became part of the masseur’s playlist during my appointments
    3) Text reminders of upcoming appointments - just like the dentist, etc.
    4) Home-made cookies “to go” afterwards

It wasn't during the experience itself, but I once had a regular I texted between sessions. Mainly, I asked for, and he gave, advice on how to improve sessions, such as which type of lube to use, etc.

    In no particular order...
A provider cooking for me or offering to cook for me.
Sending me a sweet or thoughtful message especially after our time to together.
Just being sweet affectionate and playful before during and after the encounter.
Thanking me for helping them out... by just making out. One provider I helped move some furniture. He didn't live too far from me. After we dropped the last piece of furniture off, he thanked me and kissed me. Which lead to a heavy make out session. That was all. it was awesome.
A provider, whom I met last year, offered to do a 3-day threesome (with his boyfriend) for the rate he asks for a solo 3-day meet up. This is at no additional charge... 2 for the cost of one. He says because he likes and trusts me. I was flattered.

Texting some info they would have had to look up as a follow up with no message implying they were seeking a rebooking … based on some conversation that took place, usually very vanilla … a local restaurant name, a hotel they liked when visiting somewhere you discussed, a brand of something talked about etc …  that’s when you know you’re dealing with a real human being at the other end of the “transaction”

After a very enjoyable evening appointment at his apartment, Eric Ryan suggested that I come back the next morning for a relaxed breakfast. I couldn't do it, but I thought it was a very nice gesture that implied he would like me to be a friend and not just a client.

This was quite the ride. I think where you landed was fair but more so, kudos on how you approached the conversation with him and didn't take advantage of his guilt by giving him nothing or just the 2 that he asked for. You're a dream client, from what I can tell.

Jason Dutch got a reaction from Jarrod_Uncut in I feel the RM community needs to also go on strike
Strike now or strike later, I am very serious about starting a hustlers union. There are a many SW-led advocacy projects and even some self-styled unions that are mostly women. We should definitely be organizing to build collective power ( issues of labour, criminalization, violence/exploitation, stigma and health, and I believe part of that could mean building worker run platforms/collaboratives that serve us rather than the profit driven sites we are stick with. In the amateur porn sphere for example we have Justfor.fans which is owned and staffed my models/SWers. We could all be better off bu pooling our resources / labour power to secure much needed rights, standards, and more dignified ways of working.
Alas, Right now, male SW solidarity remains uncommon and decentralized. The scarcity mentality driven by RM and similar sites (compounded by state criminalization, widespread societal scorn, neoliberal capitalism in general and most recently, our global payment processing overlords) pits us against each other as competitors, fracturing our ability to push for changes  and generally driving standards down.  Imagine what happens when we can meaningfully harness our collective influence so far but I feel like we are on the precipice of changing that.

Taking control of our working conditions doesn’t stop at the platforms either,  in my eyes. We would all be better off if a critical mass of providers can establish (or at least push toward) some shared minimum rates/service for example. Lets expand on and safety systems like bad date books, screening tools (much more common for women/femme SWers I have observed) and safety check in systems. We could develop regional networks for mutual aid and travel support/exchange, create infrastructure kn our terms…there’s so much we could do!

We are talking and planning about this sometimes in a private forum I run for/with other guys. Providers (and I mean providers only please) DM me if interested.

Jason Dutch got a reaction from Jarrod_Uncut in Is it a known risk to schedule for an hour?
I can't imagine doing this to a regular without plenty of lead time. Before you changed flights/arrived for sure, or otherwise within 24 hours is a must. I wish I could say clients had the same grace but they often drop off the face of the earth. It sounds like you were communicating clearly however, and that must especially sting coming from a provider you've built some level of a relationship with.

Jason Dutch reacted to Jarrod_Uncut in How far is too far for a provider to drive for a 2 hour appointment?
As someone who has done all of those drives you’ve mentioned: I tend to more likely incorporate locations within a tour/travel plans versus limiting it to just 1 appointment. I’ll often have an anchor city (somewhat similar to anchor client but: moreso a city with a purpose for visiting) that is my main destination, and then just include locations along the way. Like when I travel to the west coast from the Midwest, I usually have several anchor cities that may be 2-4-6 hours apart. So I try to work it all in. In that case, it wouldn’t necessarily be out of my way, though it would still involve travel. Which will typically requires a deposit as well.

As for how far I’d go to meet a client on a non-tour drive, I will do that up to 3.5 hours away. I feel 3.5 hours is just within the amount of time to be able to go there and back, and spend the night. And even if I only have 1 client, it could be worth it. But there’s usually the opportunity to see more.
For example, being in Kansas City I’ll occasionally go to Tulsa, Arkansas, Des Moines (though I haven’t been to Omaha in awhile) Last year I tried to do 2 trips, but clients kept dicking around with booking, and it seems to be a common scenario in that area 🤦🏾‍♂️
However, all of those require the caveat of needing to be booked AHEAD. Not a week in advance, but at-least the day or 2 prior. But most people reaching out don’t think that far ahead for some reason.
I usually won’t drive 3.5 hours away for a same day appointment when I’m home. Usually when I’m already on tour, I can get on the road quickly. It’s not always guaranteed if I don’t have enough notice to arrive.
For a typical same day ride/come home or back to the hotel same day for 1 client: I will usually max it to 90 minutes away.
Here’s also an example below of driving time between 2 cities you mentioned: but notice how it’s not rush hour in SF yet. That could easily add 30-60 minutes:

In my case, if I were visiting San Francisco, I wouldn’t leave there to visit someone in Reno for a 2 hour session. I would try to incorporate it along the way to my next destination. If I were living in SF, Reno would be close enough to my 3.5 hour limit preference. But I’d work it in if booked ahead, and with deposit+tip.

Never done this. My rates only vary based on the city I’m in and the length of the booking (eg my first hour is 300 and each subsequent is 200, or if more than 4 or 5hrs we can negotiate an overnight visit case by case)

I ask for compensation to drive anything more than 30 minutes, though not at my booking rate. Usually ask for realistic gas costs plus $30/hr or so for the travel. If it’s more than 75 mins each way it is likely cutting into my availability too much to be worth it.

Jason Dutch reacted to Jarrod_Uncut in Assuming escorts are always hosting…
Definitely facts. That’s exactly why I’ve come to plan things around confirmed bookings. I did the book 2-3 days in a hotel thing before having anyone confirmed, more times than I can count:  I’d be a fool to keep doing that. Nowadays I only book ONE NIGHT (maybe 2 max if I traveled far, and not feeling moving the next day) at a time when traveling. It’s day by day. If a client doesn’t hit me up by noon next day, preferably a couple hours before that: I’m checking out or going elsewhere. I have no guarantee paying for an extra night is going to earn me anything, without a deposit…. Or at the least, a steady flow of clients.
I usually find: 2 to 3 days is ample time to see everybody who’s available in a given period of time in a city (though in San Diego earlier this year, I went an entire week before my first client and then another week for my 2nd client 🫤 luckily I had friend’s spare room.
All the stragglers who reach out at 11:30, 12, 12:30: Knowing that’s usually an hour that visitors maybe checking out of hotels, will have to send a deposit immediately for another night, or be ready to show up asap. Had that in Dallas couple months ago. I had the hotel ALL DAY MONDAY Memorial Day. What does he do? Contact me at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday as I’m walking out, asking to come over. I told him: book a room if you can’t host. I’m checking out.
I also don’t rely on who all may be available to plan my trip either. Long as I have 1 confirmed client for a decent number, all else will come together. That’s why I ask $300-$400 majority of times I host. So if I only have 1, at least I have made back the hotel and money earned.

My hosting ability is constantly changing, especially with location. Nothing sucks worse than booking three nights in a hotel in a city and not getting any genuine inquiries or dates until you’re about to check out and down $500. Over time I have learned which cities are generally worth my while/investment of time and costs and make bookings accordingly. I do wish there were more hourly hotels around anymore, scuzzy though they can be.

in any case, I almost always ask “can you entertain or would you like to come to me?” Within the first few messages if they seem serious. Most of the time guys are not able to host no matter where you are.
