I find the Townhouse a comfortable ambiance for my advanced age.  I also sometimes drop in at Uncle Charlie's because of its proximity to Grand Central Station.  When I've been there it's been generally a 30+ crowd that doesn't recoil from seniors.
In the better good old days there was a bar specifically oriented for seniors on East 53rd Street named the GH Club that was a hoot.  I was so hoping it would survive into my aging years, but it bit-the-dust some time ago.

It’s certainly the bar that popped into my mind. Although I haven’t had any real  experience there since I was on the other side of the coin. Older distinguished gentlemen who enjoyed talking about their private clubs and the latest broadway musical. Didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it. I will say that it was one of the more friendly bars in NYC. But again, I was on the other side of the coin then, so you need to factor that in. 

If you're willing to travel all the way to the Keys, I highly recommend the Bungalows at Key Largo. This adults-only, all-inclusive resort offers an exceptional experience. While I usually don't favor all-inclusive resorts, this one truly stands out. The amenities, service, and atmosphere are top-notch, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing beach getaway.

It's all a part of the FICO game.  Just wait a bit (45-60 days), it'll rebound.
Ultimately, if you don't have a healthy mix of different kinds of credit, one or two closures will drastically affect you.
Also, know the difference between what a charge vs credit card does for your open credit statistics.

Every nude beach I've ever visited was 99% full of people I regretted seeing naked. So yeah...younger, fit attractive people aren't going to be hanging with grandma and her saggy tits dragging on the sand.

This was a headline/punchline that made the rounds in 2016 but one imagines there might be a kernel of truth to it. As curt mentions, DC is known for endless demand and I can vouch that Ottawa is the same. I confess I'm considering it... theoretically I'm kind of torn about the ethical side of things — surely it's a bit weird to knowingly accept what could very well be some ill-gotten bloody MAGA bucks.... But, then again, I'll gladly make a Republican staffer poorer for my sake. And to be fair I hardly ever know or feign to guess at the source of the dollars I receive from many other clienets, whose privacy I rightfully and necessarily must respect.
Tempting indeed... would be interesting just to test the premise anyhow

Just stumbled on this one today. It’s a small study of Chinese gay men who are primarily tops, but if the numbers hold up it’s damn impressive. After one year, no one in the circumcision group got HIV while about 4% of the control group did.
Previous studies have shown about a 50% reduction in HIV transmission in heterosexual African males following circumcision. So I wouldn’t expect the "zero transmission" rate to hold up in larger studies, nonetheless it appears to have an effect.

Among men who have sex with men in China, voluntary medical circumcision reduced risk for HIV infection.
The intervention was highly effective: No HIV seroconversions occurred among 124 men receiving circumcision at study entry, and 5 HIV seroconversions occurred among 123 men in the control group (P=0.025). No between-group differences in risk for other sexually transmitted infections (HSV-2, syphilis, and penile HPV) were noted.
