FWIW, let me add my two cents to the previous praise for Mike Gaite.  
I agree with the above plaudits and would add that Mike is super-intelligent and creative (that makes a difference for many of us), is an A+ french kissers (so his tongue to adept in many orifices), and is fantastic as a roleplay character (he has been a muscle sub for me).

I’ve spent a lot of time with this anmazing provider over a lot of years. We pepped each other up through job changes, a snow storm, a global pandemic and some other life stuff. I want to try to show him that he’s special to me and I celebrate him and our friendship-ish and also that I respect that we’re not in a relationship and I see the boundaries.

I always did this with my former trainer, and I assumed it was customary. But this year, when I tipped ($300 gift card) my new trainer, who has been in the business for more than a decade, he thanked me, and said he was quite touched: apparently I was the first client who had ever tipped him like this at the holidays. I was shocked  — what is the MATTER with people???

Maybe I'm old fashioned or had learned this from my mom, but I thought it's customary to provide service folks with small gifts or bonuses this time of year. A little cash or something to the mail carrier, paperboy (if there is still such a thing), hairdresser/barber, cleaners, etc.
So I'd think if an escort or massage provider is a regular, a small gift would be in keeping with this tradition. Of course there is passion involved with an escort/masseur's services so that might confuse things a bit, but a bit of extra cash or a small gift seems just fine.

Does anyone give Christmas gifts to providers? I’m seeing a guy on Friday evening. We’ve had many appointments over many years and are friendly to a point. I’d like to give him something to  nod to how special he is - but I don’t want to make things weird.

I had a really lovely experience with a client of mine this holiday season.  
Long term regular.  He and I are very close.  Amazing beautiful man.  At the end of the session he expressed that he’d wanted to give me a Christmas present.  But he was conscious of the boundaries in our relationship.  And he was aware that I have a separate home life and was cautious of imposing himself on that.  He racked his brain on what to get, and in the end decided that cash was the way to go.

In all likelihood, he already is, with probably not being a clock-watcher, making the client's time more than worth his while to be a repeat visitor. That's a present all on it's own.

Make it something inconspicuous, like a restaurant gift card he can easily stow.

Paying your provider ~~$350/hour "many times", he should be giving you a present.
