Thanks for letting us know he has stopped asking for ID. My guess is he found out the hard way that it was a barrier to acquiring business. While I would never provide a copy of my license, a provider who asked someone else for theirs would not deter me from contacting him. If he pulled the license bit, I'd walk. That being said, when a provider asked me for a copy of my ID, I said "sure, after you provide me with a copy of the front and back of yours." Don't ask me why I did this, as my response would ordinarily have been to end things right there. Guess my inner smartass was on display.

Apologies for being very late to the party, but I'm firmly in @LukePhx's corner here. In a 2019 article in Instinct magazine, Dallas Steele stated:
"After 23 years in TV news, I had found what I thought was a great main anchor job at the NBC/ABC combo station in Fort Myers, Florida....About one year into my three-year contract, the boss tells me they’ve been doing “focus group” research and that “people here, just don’t like you.” ...They paid me out the rest of 2011..."
Based on this quote, in 2011 he had 24 years in TV news, meaning he would have started in 1987.
In a 2018 post to the Fort Troff blog, he stated:
"I was on-air in radio at 17, and moved to TV news at 23. "
    Doing the math...
    1987 - 23 = 1964.
    2026 - 1964 = 62.
    He's 62 years old.

    It really was fun.
Circling back to the topic of "gifting," the bride and groom at this wedding stated that they did not expect gifts, but if anyone DID give a gift they would prefer money to contribute toward their honeymoon or a donation to the local arts center, where the bride works with children.

Hmm...parents budgeted $10K. How much did the bride budget? Oh, ha ha, my mistake - she expected mom and dad to pay for the entire thing and didn't want to contribute a dime.
I "get" registries, when they are reasonable. For example, a friend was in his late 40's when he married a woman who is around his same age. They both have classic, simple tastes and prefer modest over ostentatious. They live in NYC, his family lives in Chicago, California, Argentina, and France and hers lives in Vancouver BC and Hong Kong, so they registered at Crate and Barrel and Macy's for things they needed. Their dishes from Crate and Barrel were the basic white dishes they have sold for decades. I think each dinner plate was $10 or something. Their wine glasses were the basic ones from Macy's as was the cookware (I think they wanted a stock pot and chef's pan - they had everything else and didn't have those items). They weren't going to register, but her sister received all manner of expensive, ostentatious, over the-top crap and they decided that a registry would encourage thrift and moderation. It worked!
@Rudynate, I'm guessing this is a registry you could support.
    That's a good one.
Same here, but I made an exception recently for an extended family member. She and her now-husband are mid-40's (her second marriage and his first) and are not at all materialistic. They rented a space at a local country park (they live in Watsonville, CA and the park is in Aptos), invited only very close friends and family, and had the wedding catered by a local taco truck. The wine and beer came from Costco and the cake came from a local bakery. Her dress was on clearance at David's Bridal and the bridesmaids wore regular dresses - no coordinated dresses in bizarre theme colors. It was an absolutely lovely ceremony.

With a few exceptions, I would rather not receive a gift. I am nearly 60 years old and have accumulated so much stuff that I'm donating and selling stuff. When my dad (an artist) passed away, I acquired my favorite pieces, so I don't need any more artwork. One of my close friends is a potter, so I'm all good on home decor. Many flowers and plants are toxic to cats, and I have two of them. And, frankly, I am at a place where I can buy whatever I want.
The exceptions to my "no gift" rule are art pieces made by friends, food (preferably made by a friend or friend's friend), and candy. "Art pieces" includes pillow covers, quilts, and such. My potter friend is a talented quilter who makes some very quirky quilts and, thanks to her great eye for fabric, has made some beautiful pillowcases, potholders, and even a briefcase. My sister-in-law is very crafty as well and has made me some very nice pieces over the years. I can always find room for that stuff.

To me, having six reviews from multiple clients is more than plenty. I've hired well-reviewed escorts and had a miserable time and have hired escorts with no reviews and had a fantastic time. When an escort hasn't been discussed here, just ask about him.

My approach is similar to @pubic_assistance's, with a subtle difference.
In my first message I introduce myself, state my interests, and close by asking the provider for his thoughts. No discussion of money in the first communication. Once we have established we are a match I ask "What is your rate?"
Regardless how you handle the inquiry about his fee, be forthright.

When I first started hiring, I wanted 60-minute sessions and nothing but 60-minute sessions. Period. Then it started feeling like playdates were being rushed. And they were, because of my desire to book 60 minutes. That's when I became more flexible and started booking for 60 minutes and asking if we could have the option to extend if we were both up to it.* When more and more playdates were being extended I started softening my stance and booking two hours.
I find that booking a longer session takes off the pressure to squeeze as much into 60 minutes as we can. It also gives us time for foreplay and relaxation time afterwards. There have been times where I wanted to leave as soon as I finished and, in those cases, that's what I did. If I pay for two hours and leave in 90 minutes, that's on me. On two occasions, I started to leave, unaware of the time, and the escort reminded me that we still had time left in our session. (We're talking 30 + minutes) One offered a brief massage (which I loved) and the other offered to extend our next playdate at no additional charge, which is what we did.
*Obviously, if a guy's minimum is two hours, then I book for two hours or don't book at all.

I'm the same way - dirty ass is not OK, but musky ass is fine. There are plenty of men, and I am one of them, whose ass will be musky within a short time after showering. So, a question for @inkball to ask himself - was this natural musk or feces? (You don't have to answer) Either way, the way to handle this is to ask your guy to shower at your place because you like to eat out a freshly-showered ass.

For 2 hours, other than doing it again... If we "finish" early, we just hang out and chat. Or we just call it and leave early and i just consider the "lost time" the fee for not having to worry about feeling rushed in a 1 hour slot, i'm not bothered by that if i'm the one choosing to head out early. Sitting in forced small talk too long is painfully awkward to me, and a scenario i'd pay to get out of. So it balances out lol.

I had the same issue for the longest time. One hour usually too short but two hours can sometimes be way too long. Someone on here suggested inquiring about a 90 min session and pretty much every provider since that has been ok with it. I usually will first ask a provider's one and two hour rate and then offer whatever the middle is of the two rates.

I am a glutton when it comes to eating ass, and I always tell my hires to expect a long, deep, and very wet rimming from my avid tongue. I have never had a cleanliness issue down there.
I must say that the scent of a musky ass turns me on very much, so while I ask them to clean themselves to get rid of all shit remains, dingleberries and the likes, I still enjoy the natural smell of a sweaty shit-free hole, even if powerful. Different strokes…

Gentlemen, this thread was recently revived after a full year of dormancy with a post that was off topic but sought to comment on the tone of earlier posts here.
The moderators have reviewed comments since then, noting that although some continued to address the topic, many pursued tangents relating to sex and the advertising industry unrelated to the case at hand. We've hidden a number of them, and are considering what if any further action needs to be taken.
