Yes this is highly regulated. The Association for Sexwork Knowledge (ASK) has a pamphlet that stipulates the exact content of an erotic massage.
The pamphlet describes that all erotic massages must include at least 3 touches of the client’s genitals (and the final or 3rd touch has to keep hold until the client climaxes or the time runs out). A minimum of one nipple must be tweaked and at least one ball gently cupped or caressed. If the client has a non standard number of nipples or balls the masseur has to ensure that 50% of the total ball / nipples available have to be touched. 
Clients with a preference for bum work should indicate this either verbally or by parting their legs wider than table width. If the client does this then the pamphlet requires that the masseur insert a lubed finger (spit acceptable if no lube is available) past the first knuckle.

That has not been my experience. As someone who has hired more professional masseurs than non-professional, I have experienced most of these problems with both. I believe mastering how to deal with people, and provide good service are learned skills. Only the very basics can be taught via formal instruction, and your answer to another post better illuminates the bigger issue.

No matter what job you do, you always perform the work better when you don't hate the work. I just don't envision, that typically, anyone whose sole thought process is waking up and thinking, "fuck! Rent is due. I guess I am going to have to stroke some guy today to pay the bills, " has the motivation to do the job well.

I'd say having the guy cum is not even a guarantee for escort services so I rarely expect it from a masseur. 

Very few providers are literally available now when the status says so.  Most need at least two hour notice (which is fine).  Some say they are not available for the day, after I inquire.  I wish there were more specific statuses, like available today, for instance.

For me, "Online Now" indicates that they're actively logged in and engaging with the platform. However, "Available Now" can be ambiguous. I've encountered providers listed as "Available Now" around the clock, every day. It's puzzling why both terms appear together in search results.

Here is a look at the availability feature for your reference (below). I only use the one hour availability option because that’s actually realistic, and it matches all the other platforms I use that have availability functions in maximum 1-hr format…so my availability displays consistently across platforms +/- a couple mins.
Sometimes I flag myself available for an hour and I get a text 10 mins later requesting an appointment to start within the next hour. Unless I actively change it back, it will list me as available for the rest of the hour, which technically I am…available to respond promptly to inquiries. Sometimes available “now” for a massage as well. In this scenario, it depends if you are the client contacting me in the first 10 mins after I flag or the last 50 mins. It can change within the hour, but it looks the same to the client.
Also, I am not necessarily tethered to the studio. I may be heading to the gym or running an errand, and turn around if I get a client, or in the middle of a workout and have to tell the client I can start you at X time, factoring in wrapping up, showering, driving, and any last minute setup.
“Online” now (green) means logged in currently or very recently, whether actively looking at the screen or not. This may have nothing to do with whether I can take a client “now” or not. I might ironically be responding to a RentMasseur massage saying I am NOT available now, but here is my next availability x, y, and z. 
 
Some of you seeing “available now” 24/7 may be seeing a guy selecting 6 hours at a time! Which IMHO is unrealistic at best.

There it is exactly. If I’m asked the question “what one thing do your clients want?” I’d have to say it’s intimacy and feeling safe (I know that’s two!!!) but you really can’t have intimacy if you don’t feel safe. 
Everything else flows from this. It’s essential that the client feels comfortable with you, they trust you and they feel approved of by you. Create that environment and then you can deliver other things. 
 

I think we as gay men think that if another man ejaculates while we are "playing" then he must be into me.... and if he doesn't then he is not.  There is so much more to sex and sexuality then ejaculation.  You have to remember that in massage or escort services, the main goal of the provider should be about them meeting your needs.  There are guys out there who really just enjoy getting other guys off (hand, mouth or whatever) and have no consideration to cum themselves.

You send your review to your masseur, then they upload it to the system.   Hope that helps...   I believe 1 review permitted per every 2-3 months, which to me seems odd.
