My best experience so far left me relaxed and limber, and reached places I didn't even realize needed any attention.  I was on a business trip to Halifax, and staying in a hotel much posher than I was used to.  But it quickly became worth the splurge.  My legs were spread slightly, and I could feel this firm, lengthy hardness against the small of my back.  I braced my arms and rocked myself against the hardness as it slowly moved from just above my butt to the middle of my back, and up to between my shoulder blades. Drips of sweat ran down my chest as my breathing deepened, and as I ground against that blessed hardness until I was utterly spent. Again, and again, and again until my quads were quivering and my entire body released.  Never before and never since have I found such a perfect door frame to massage myself against.

I’ve just noticed that as well. Usually when i’m turned over, I zone out …. eyes shut, enjoying/savoring the therapeutic massage. I just quicky glanced over at the masseur (off of RentMasseur) when he was massaging my arms and there he was, eyed shut as well.  Either it was him on autopilot and just feeling how my arm muscle reacts….or mimicry, since i had my eyes shut. It was my 4th session with him so perhaps, hoping, not him just taking me as an appt since i was already a “regular” (?).  The room was not extremely dim.

The thought of a blindfolded masseur is interesting…but Jamie21 does have some valid points.

That’s an interesting concept. I’ve had clients who like to be blindfolded (especially during an undressing ritual at the start). I find that I’m often not looking at the body, since feel can be improved if you have your eyes closed but I’d not want to massage blindfolded because sometimes it’s important to see the body.
I’m thinking of looking for skin conditions, varicose veins or injuries that the client might not have mentioned. It’s not very sexy but hey one has to think of these things when massaging!!  Plus if I’m going to suck his cock I like to visually check out it’s suitable to go down my throat if you know what I mean.

A fellow forum friend recommended that I try Oliver. I agree with 7829V’s comment about the “trained” part and the older and heavier part. Still looks goods though.  You will most definitely get a good massage. YMMV. For me, when I asked him to derobe during MT HE, he obliged …and more.  Might be near my top 5 where you get your money’s worth, especially now that the LA massage rates (amongst other things) are getting higher and higher.

I was asked once, and so I exaggerated my existing flaws, adding a few years, a few pounds, and describing my face as “almost healed”. He didn’t balk and when I showed up, he opened the door, and said “you’re much more attractive than you think”.
I climaxed right then and there, handed him a couple Benjamins and left happy. 🍻

Pat is good but definitely spa trained. It felt like he brought a Thai spa to me. Decent massage, looks like his pictures, though if he's 5'9 then I'm suddenly 6'4.
    I would repeat.

TennisPro35 reacted to Epigonos in Wearing a Rolex, because you can’t wear a gold bar on your wrist.
When my father retired after forty years being the director of maintenance at the 7Up bottling plant, in Los Angeles, he was given an engraved watch. The family was appalled that that was all dad was given after all those years but said nothing. When my father died my mother wanted me to take the watch. I have never worn a watch so I, ungratefully, refused. My mother then offered the watch to my brother-in-law. He also refused stating that he had a perfectly good Timex that he really liked. My mother then gave the watch to her eldest grandson. Years later my nephew showed the watch to his mother and asked where he should take it to have it cleaned and repaired if needed. My sister looked at the watch and told him he should take it directly to the Rolex Shop in Beverly Hills and NOT to a local jeweler. At the Rolex shop my nephew apologized to the salesperson explaining that the watch was likely not worth much because it was not self-wind and was engraved.  The salesperson was shocked and informed my nephew that not being self-wind and being engraved made the watch more valuable NOT less. He also pointed out that that the watch had small diamonds at the 12 and the 6 and small rubies at the 3 and the 9. My nephew nearly fainted when he was told the value of the watch (unfortunately I do not remember the value my nephew was quoted). He was told, however, that he needed to get rid of the cheap band and buy a suitable replacement which he proceeded to do. For years my brother-in-law and I laughed at our ignorance regarding watches and their value. My nephew now 66 continues to wear the watch to this day.

Some cities like Phoenix for example, do not have rent control laws or policy.
You cannot really fault the providers that increase their prices when you get to enjoy their homes and services for an hour of more of their time.  As with any service provider, they need to factor their expenses and costs to provide you a service.  They pay to keep their utilities on, rent/mortgage, clean towels and sheets, gas and vehicle expenses to travel to you, etc.
    This is 2022, not 1992!
Massage is a luxury in case many of you forgot, not a necessity. There's always MassageEnvy in case you want to pinch your pennies.  If you argue it's a health-necessity -- having a nearly naked or naked man providing this service, isn't exactly what I would say is "necessity," especially, if you expect a handjob or play at the end.

ButchAtl might have been the only lucky one amongst us here who has commented.  Though, it’s always YMMV as we all know.  Scheduled one with KrisEvans when he was recently in Los Angeles.  I second samK’s, goodtimecharlie213’s and toocoolforschool’s mini review.  Your comments from 2018 still rings true in 2022.

I am one of those fools (comment from Otto) hahahah.  I tend to check out these not-so-highly-rated-in-The-M4M-forums to see what the hoopla is all about. So far, i’ve had good/great experiences with those types. But not this guy. He is cute and looks younger in person as compared to one or two pictures in his RentMasseur page. Eye candy yes, but he knows who his audience are and know he can/will be able to upsell.   I just may not be his cup of tea.  Expensive as hell.  Rentmen rates for the basic extras (no experience with RM yet but the total $$ earlier was waaaay higher than any RentMasseur or MF appts that I’ve have had).

“Lame” was used often in the above posts…and “lame” will also be my word choice. But, to each his own
If my post is against the rules of the forum, i can edit. If more details are needed…PM me.  Save your hard-earned cash is my PSA.

I’ve read all three pages so far and I might have missed this. Perhaps include their RentMasseur, Masseurfinder and RentMen links. Masseurs with ads on one or two of these websites will automatically let us know of their limits (e.g. RentMasseur and RentMen).

A rule of thumb, you don't tip the owner of the business.  They own the business, set the rate, and keep all the money.  I feel a massage therapist sets the rate they think is fair.  If they have a much lower rates than other therapist I have seen then I will tip them.  If they go above and beyond I will tip them.  The ones that are at the top of the price range I don't tip. Of course, I always tip if they work in a spa.

This topic (“tipping”) shows up every few years. It usually ends in back and forth disagreements between members that have strong feelings but generally end up being unhelpful.
My takeaway has always been to do what works for you and help you achieve your objectives.
I value my regulars - I choose to tip them because they meet or exceed my expectations. You do you. 🤷‍♂️

When I saw him doing this while I was in shower (door was open) my first thought was that is odd, why is he touching my clothes. Then I realized that was a simple kind gesture that makes you remember and appreciate the little details and that he does not think of clients as just someone hiring him but as a valued customer.
