"He has a really bad attitude, with his "I have a real job so I don't need to do this" vibe."

Good for him. Who wants to meet a client who is only interested if you have an attitude that that says "I'm financially desperate so I'll tolerate more from you"? Providers are entitled to as much discretion as they want with who they meet. No matter how ridiculous their criteria, they have the final word on their body.

are you also applying that logic to the transphobic, misogynistic and homophobic language in bdsm roleplay or only raceplay because it makes you personally uncomfortable and offended?  Reenacting rape and sexual violence in CNC A-okay too? Seems pretty inconsistent and hypocritical of you in addition to being pretty obnoxious telling people what they should and should not do in the privacy of their own bedrooms with other consenting adults.

Thanks for this preview. I think it might be exciting to have another review option than just RM, where I post reviews almost monthly about my encounters with providers. I am a great believer in posting and reading reviews.
I think you have missed a few points RM provides about their providers ( and client profiles as well) namely safe sex practices (3 options), health status and drug use. All are important considerations no matter where you personally stand on such issues. What's important is knowing what to expect so as a client you can be guided accordingly.
Anyway keep up the good work. Will be interested in seeing your results.

"If it offends me or makes me uncomfortable then it must be wrong" is not how we derive a thought-out sexual ethics in a free society. Bodily autonomy and consent are guiding principles. Anyone who argues otherwise is acting like a tyrannical child and should be pushed back against by other leftists who actually have read the decades long feminist debates on pornography/free speech and have thought these things out. The toxic atmosphere of contemporary politics has silenced intelligent progressive minded people who have been enabling this kind of nonsense for too long. The attacks on free speech have spilled over into attacks on sexual freedom and bodily autonomy. That's what this is. What will these attacks spill over into next if left unchecked and allowed to continue? Tyrants never stop. You might not be into this or that kink, but they will violate your boundaries and self-determination next if enabled enough.

You may have less rage if you minded your own business and respected the sexual autonomy of other consenting adults. Their personal private sex lives are not obligated to accommodate what offends you or doesn't offend you personally. No one has such a dictatorial right over the sex lives of other people. It's difficult to even fathom the level of entitlement it takes to think one does have such a right to deny such sexual agency in others. Yes, it is a collective rather than individual problem. It is a complete disregard for the sexual autonomy/freedom of others, the self-agency of others, the privacy of others and the boundaries of other people beyond oneself. I'll say it again- no one has the right to dictate what one consenting adult can or cannot do with another consenting adult in mutually enjoyable consensual sexual activity.

Also again, since you ignored this repeated point in this thread, somehow the rampant misogyny is okay in the BDSM scene but raceplay is not. If you condemn raceplay but have nothing to say about the constant reenactments of sexual violence or the daily stream of homophobic/misogynistic epithets in the scene then you are inconsistent and you are a hypocrite. You're just condemning what's more stigmatized and taboo at the current moment. At least Andrea Dworkin and Catharine A. MacKinnon were consistent in their obnoxious puritanical opposition to sexual freedom and self-autonomy. You are not.

This is all a very solid take that clients should follow. Providers are going to be less apprehensive if they have some idea what they're walking into. The stats or even a short description is very helpful. Meeting a client for the first time can be intimidating and daunting, especially for someone newer at this kind of work. The clients know who you are and what you look like, but you have no idea what they look like. A client who looks clean and is presentable will help put that provider's defenses at ease when they meet you.

So too will good friendly communication. A pleasant personality should be a given. If I sense even the slightest attitude, then I'm not going to book you. Most people are not going to sleep with someone who doesn't respect them. Neither will many of the best of providers who have earned themselves a safety net in this with regular clients. You can go ahead and try hiring the other guy who shows up two hours late or the one who is drugged out or the one who can't get it up and see how any of those lovely gambles work for you.

I was humored when I read on here a while back of some clients who don't like it when escorts have alternative sources of income and financial independence outside the job. That told me everything I needed to know about some of the personalities who inhabit these spaces.

When you’d like to meet with him and for how long. What you look like. What you like to do with an escort. Providing such details is an act of a guy who’s really interested.

I agree with everything Public Assistance has said and with the consensus that the OP screwed up bigtime: (1) it was exceedingly rude to cancel a 3 hour session for this reason, as the provider has surely relied on your promise to arrange his day; (2) it is not unusual for either the client or the provider to arrive 15 minutes late, and the common sense approach is to call/text and see if the other party can adjust; (3) the OP's question reflects entitlement and presumptuousness.
On (3), the proper question is whether the provider will see the OP again.  IMHO, the OP should offer an advance payment for one of the hours he cost the provider earlier.  A sign of good faith, plus it is fair.  Then if the provider would be willing to see the OP, pay the normal rate.

I spend in the area of about $20k a year on my hobby and have been doing that for a number of years now. I used to spend a considerable amount on strippers and for massages but have curtailed that in the last decade.
I am now 75 and have no children or x to support. What I imagine will dictate my future expenditures on this hobby is my advancing age the most and my health, which is currently good. I no longer do much travel except to Canadian cities as I live in a small town where there are no local providers.

Is it different than demeaning someone based on their gender or sexual identity? Degrading sexist, homophobic, transphobic language and role play are all over in BDSM. There was a time when second wave feminists contended such activity perpetuated sexism and sexual violence in the wider society. Fortunately, they lost that argument. If such BDSM is different than racially degrading role play, then explain how so. If one is acceptable and the other is not, explain how that's consistent. Where are you drawing the line in deeming what's acceptable and unacceptable for consenting adults to practice in the privacy of their own bedrooms? If such activity that is consenting and mutually enjoyable for all parties involved is deemed wrong, then how do you plan on remedying it? The law? Censorship?

In movies or theater, we usually are able to differentiate between the actor and the character being played on stage or on screen. But when it comes to sex and raceplay, that ability seems to evaporate. This says more about how acts of sex invoke emotionally driven reactions and positions not so thought out with the scrutiny of logic. There's something about sex that makes people want to control what others do in their own bedroom. It doesn't matter if it makes you uncomfortable or if it offends you, it's none of your business if you're not engaging in it. Adults have the right to engage in whatever consenting sexual activity they want to with other consenting adults. When determining what sex acts are moral and immoral, we should not let our own knee-jerk discomfort and our own feelings of offense restrict the freedom of consenting adults engaging in mutually enjoyable private behavior. No one has that right over the rights of others, no matter how offensive their kinks and fetishes are to you personally.

Complicated topic but the focus is only on the white guys "living out their fantasy" and whether that is right. However by objecting to this consensual private bedroom activity, you're also saying asian men who enjoy this do not have a right to live out their fantasy either. They are to be denied their own agency and decision making in this conversation. By arguing against asian men having the right to do what they please, you are also pathologizing them. Essentially you're saying there must be something wrong with them if they enjoy this fetish? You're arguing against their autonomy and agency as much as anyone else's. Not so sure calling asian men who enjoy this fetish to be mentally ill is particularly antiracist. Degradation and humilation in BDSM often involves language that is homophobic and misogynistic "f*ggot, b*tch, c*nt". Those being into it also wanting to try racial degradation doesn't seem too far of a stretch from that. It might make us uncomfortable, but policing what other people do consensually in their private sex lives or pathologizing men of color who enjoy such fetishes doesn't strike as particularly progressive either. Who are we to make decisions for other people with what they can and cannot do consensually?

Dealing with time wasters. The ‘endless chat’ guys who are fantasists about visiting but who never actually get to book “thinking about booking…can you tell me what happens etc etc” or who list a whole sequence of things they want done to them and ask if I’m ok to do x or y etc. They never book they just waste time.
Then there’s the really annoying guys who book but don’t show up who seem to treat it like a game. When you message them to confirm they say “yeah see you later” (always a red flag…the casualness of their response), and then they fail to show. Excuse, if provided, is “I ran out of time” or “I got caught up”. They think you’re just hanging around with nothing else to do but entertain them if they can be bothered. Fortunately they’re easy to spot.

For me, the most challenging part was filtering through the time wasters and flakes.  Some cities have a higher concentration of that than other cities. I don’t have an active advertisement up anymore specifically because I did not want to deal with that part of the business anymore. When you don’t advertise and only see regulars, you know the regulars are reliable and you know they aren’t interested in wasting your time.

This is only for providers who travel to my city. If they text me and say they are planning a visit and only have a few days here, I absolutely will pay a deposit to secure my time with them. It’s not always 100%, but the point is deposits need to be paid especially with several clients cancelling without notice when the providers are paying so much in travel costs and depending on making the money from appointments that we book. I always put myself in their shoes and have the most respect for what these guys do.
