I see so many cute fellows with such huge tattoos, and they just make me loose interest.

When I was a teenager, I remember the lectures from my overbearing, difficult, screechy voiced mum who has basically been 70 years old her entire life. Most of them were not relevant to the life of any sane adolescent, but the one that actually made sense was her absolute loathing of anyone who got a tattoo. Everything from 'they did that to our people at the camps' to 'I want to make sure I can bury you in a Jewish cemetery when you die'....oddly enough, when she actually turned 70 a few years ago and got 'permanent makeup' applied to her eyebrows (making her look sort of like a wrinkled, terrifying version of catwoman) and lips (making her look like a vegas hooker at a long night of work) we had a blowout argument about that being the same / looking s bad as a tattoo.

I digress.

I buzzed down to Indianapolis to visit her last weekend and while in situ in my adolescent bedroom, I decided to sneak out for a meeting with a great looking fellow off of rentmen. And managed to not notice in his ad that he had massive star shaped tattoo messes all over his chest (oy) which was a letdown. (though he looked quite nice facedown, so all was not lost).

The entire time I kept thinking 'oh, god those will look terrible when you are 50' but on my way home realized I would likely be mostly dead by the time he was 50, so I did not have to worry about it.

Are you paying for the dick or for the artwork on the canvas is my question to any client indifferent about booking because a provider has tattoos.

We don’t say anything about how horribly decorated your home is (if you do outcalls with providers). You have to pick and choose your battles.

The tat trend has exploded. I'm not a fan, but to each his/her own.

But it's the hot guys - who have resisted the craze, bucking that trend, not caving to today's pressure - that are in my mind the cool, forward-thinking dudes.

Maybe they aren't the paragons you think they are. They may not be involved in mortal combat with the dark side. May be they just don't want tattooes.

I love when guys with huge cocks get an arm sleeve around it...an arm sleeve!! Imagine if you were the tattoo artist on that one "sir you have to keep that monster hard the whole time I'm at work on it. It will take a few hours. Go take a few viagara and I'll make sure to do my best keeping it rock hard the whole time". Whew!!!

A couple of years ago, I hired an escort whose photos were sans tattoos. He never mentioned the photos were a little outdated, so when he arrived, and began to undress, it was quite a shock. Handsome young blonde guy, with large stars across the top of his chest, at least 3” in diameter. And some smaller ones that were all across his lower abdomen. There were a few smaller ones scattered around. It wasn’t a complete turn-off, but certainly distracting. So we had a few drinks and I carefully lowered the lights. That helped a lot, but still, couldn’t get Starry Night out of my head. Had a really good time, but I doubt I’d hire him again.

It's certainly a matter of taste but I fall into the too much is too much camp. I recall a torso picture of David Beckham with his tattoos and alongside was a photoshopped picture without them. I liked the latter.

But nobody asked you. Guys with tattoos get them because they like them, not because you like them. I bet Beckham is perfectly happy with the way he looks.

I don't mind modest tattoos, especially if they're truly done well. What I hate is scribbling. I don't know if there's a term for this style, because it seems fairly common - but the guys who get words or phrases in cursive/fancy "fonts" all across their chest, etc - to me it's very ugly. I don't see what the attraction to that is.

The answer to this is simple.

Like ink? Find a guy who's got it, hire him, have fun. The end.

Don't like ink? Find a guy with no ink, hire him, have fun. The end.

Enjoy shaming people on message boards who make personal decisions about their own bodies? Go fuck yourself.

See... Simple :)

Guys get tattooed because they think it looks "cool". To each his own, but I find heavily tattooed guys revolting. Nothing is hotter to me than a great looking guy without a trace of ink on his skin.
