ANDY WILSON Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 (edited) Do you have a fetish for sleeveless white ribbed undershirts, known as wifebeaters? If so, email me a harnimanhardware@gmailcom Would like to hear from you. I wear them 365 days in a year. I enjoy the feel of them, the touch, everything about them and seeing them through a guys shirt or the outlines through a shirt are a major turn on for me. Edited September 30, 2017 by ANDY WILSON
ANDY WILSON Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 (edited) Do you have a fetish for getting natural wedgies and picking them out? I would like to hear from people why in the 1970s, with bell bottom jeans and bikini underwear, guys got natural wedgies all the time. Nowadays no one gets them because of the damn boxer briefs. Does anyone remember the 70's when out of place brief lines were the norm and guys often would pick and pick their wedgies out of their rears? liubit Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Do you have a fetish for sleeveless white ribbed undershirts, known as wifebeaters?. I must have a mild fetish about them, because I find them soooooooooooo sexy (especially if they are white and the guy is tanned). Just yummy
+ sync Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 My political correctness has no tolerance for that term. I don't understand how today's society has allowed that term to remain popular/acceptable. LADoug1, Adam_6969 and EastbayMike 3
liubit Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I agree with @sync and @EastbayMike: I also hate that term, but I still find those sleeveless undershirts very sexy
ANDY WILSON Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 I agree that the term is abominable. I didn't even know what a "wifebeater" shirt was til someone explained to me that that's what I'm wearing. I grew up in the old school. This shirt was called simply an undershirt-without sleeves-as opposed to a T-shirt. I wish more people would call them undershirts. I don't know why but I have such a fetish for the sight, feel, and texture of the shirt and it's distinct outline that can be seen through shirts and it's heaven on earth if I could meet someone who wears them. I'm in Toronto. Email [email protected] LADoug1 1
+ Charlie Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 I don't know where the term originated, but I suspect it was from the famous image of Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire. Maxl 1

+ purplekow Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Hereabouts also known disparagingly as a guinea tee.
instudiocity Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 The correct descriptive term is "tank-top t-shirt". Wife-beater probably comes from watching too many episodes of "Cops" where the domestic violence arrestee is typically wearing only a tank-top t-shirt. There was this guy in my high school who wore tank-tops exclusively. He was handsome and very muscly. He earned the nickname "Tank" from the guys and girls. bigvalboy 1

whipped guy Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 (edited) The other term used by underwear companies such as Jockey® is an A-Shirt as opposed to a T-Shirt. I don't wear them as an undershirt, but on occasion do wear them when working out as the ribbed variety are lighter in weight with a tighter fit compared to a standard tank top which often have wider straps at the shoulder or other styles of sleeveless muscle-type shirts. Of course they look smoking hot and especially on the right guy! YUM! I always assumed that the colloquial name was derived from A Streetcare Named Desire. Here in classic white: They look hot in black as well: And even in in between grey! Edited July 24, 2017 by whipped guy + honcho, bigvalboy, liubit and 1 other 4
+ BenjaminNicholas Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Oh yeah, big turn-on here... The classic white ribbed is my preference. Just see-through & tight enough to show off if he's put in some quality gym time.
+ poolboy48220 Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 I've got a weakness for the sleeveless t-shirts cut very deeply on the sides; essentially VERY large arm cut-outs that allow a lot of peek-a-boo. Hard not to stare at guys at the gym wearing them. Something like this... "men cut off muscle shirt" was the most promising google search term I found for this. + BenjaminNicholas 1

whipped guy Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I would call that style a "muscle shirt" rather than a tank top. As do I! I have a bunch that have a bit of Lycra® so they are form fitting, but still give you freedom of motion. I just hate styles that are overly baggy and loose as that feeling bothers me. That's why in a pinch the ribbed A-shirt fits the bill nicely... for those "less formal" occasions. TruHart1 1
escortrod Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 I would call that style a "muscle shirt" rather than a tank top. Funnily enough that style would be called a tank top in the UK, while the American 'tank top' would be called a vest here. While I'm not as old as the people in these pictures, my grandmother used to knit me tank tops like these: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/06/15/08/29A000A500000578-3124079-image-a-13_1434354842825.jpg
