It is well established that transmission from oral can go both ways. http://www.ashasexualhealth.org/stdsstis/oral-sex-stis/. Several forum members have said that they’ve contracted an STI from oral sex without condoms. So far as I know, no one here has been struck by lightning. While I don’t know the odds (not sure anyone really does since it would be hard to do a good scientific study on it), the anecdotal evidence suggests that the chances of catching something this way are far from negligible. Further, you can’t really say, “I’ve been doing this forever, and I’ve never caught anything” since so many cases are asymptomatic.
