Thanks for that supportive reply, it's nice to know others have travelled this road. Yes, the boys have been the priority, but one's in college and the other two, twins, will be next year (God willing!) So I'll see what feels right then. I was married for 24 years and faithful. The most mind blowing sex I had was with her. I was always curious but am somewhat emotional/connective about sex so a quick hookup is not very satisfying for me. Also, dating is just low priority because of the kids.

 

My marriage broke up a few years ago and I have custody of all the kids. Only 4 still at home but my hands are full and I think a very active dating life would be unfair to them. Frankly nycman the details are not really all that exciting. At that time, in both of our lives, neither Bobby nor I were about to admit we were gay. We worked out together six day a week for several hours each day. The gym where we worked out was definitely not a spa but rather a free weight gym for serious competitive bodybuilders. Most of the guys, including Bobby, worked out hard to prepare for various bodybuilding competitions. At any given gym the serious bodybuilders form a tight clique and even though I wasn't competing I was extremely serious about my workouts and thus became a member of the group. We would then shower, shave, dress and go to work only to return to the gym around 5 in the afternoon for another couple of hours. The few hours we weren't at work or working out we tended to socialize together. We would share meals, and shop together, it isn't easy to get clothing for serious bodybuilders. We spent hours talking about various exercises, diets, dietary supplements and the steroids we were using. Most of us were totally self absorbed and the work out mirrors became our true reality. Really not terribly exciting.
