I'd agree it doesn't feel "fair" but, more pragatically, it's bad business (and, to Mr. Smith's point, blurring the lines). Some questions that might arise: "You mean I'm not 'hot'? If I hired you would you be even the slightest bit interested in me or watching the clock counting the minutes until I left?", "Just how unattractive must you think I am if I know others pay a reduced fee?", "You said six months ago I qualified for a lower fee but will I with this wart on my nose?". You get the idea.

 

I think whatever you do personally is your own business but I'd keep it very discrete from anyone who might find themselves asking those questions.

Discounts are only cool when you provide and require punch cards for your clients to use.

 

The way to skirt around this as I have seen done without too much of a fuss is to offer in your advertising, something like discounts for all active military with ID or discounts for all current college students with photo ID-- but it is a dangerous path that should be carefully navigated or strategically avoided.

Lots of businesses do give pensioners a discount as a marketing tool. It's not because of how they look, but in recognition of their perceived financial status (ie that pensioners have less discretionary income), or their contribution to society.

So, as a result of the goodness of your heart (and the possibility of attracting more customers) would any of the escorts on this forum consider advertising that you give (say) a 10% discount to pensioners or some other group, such as returned servicemen?

Senior discount is a long and proud tradition in this country. As long as the senior is in by 5 and out by 5 30, I think you should consider instituting an early bird special.
