Of all the game players out there, there is a non-trivial subset who want to see if they can get free or reduced prices. Think Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos, always patronizing prostitutes but bragging that he never pays because he is so good looking and important. It's an ego thing for a few.

I worked a charity booth at a street fair yesterday, pouring drinks to support the local library. We had a couple women trying hard to get freebies of the stuff we were selling, because they'd bought two drinks and bought t-shirts at another library booth. The volunteer coordinator said they'd also tried to haggle over their t-shirts.

The first time I ever hired someone was at a Strip Club that used to be in Times Square. I was there with some buddies of mine. There was one very special fellow who came out on stage who was just 101% my type. ( not that I have any particular one type)...but for what ever reason, I was crazy lusting for this guy. I just had to meet him. After his routine, I made my way to the lounge, really to just get another look at him and maybe say hello. He spied me and made a bee line over. ( I was probably about 38 at the time, and in good shape/ well dressed ). He asked if I wanted a "private show"...which having never hired anyone before I was totally not prepared for that question, but I asked "how much is a private show ?". $ 150 an hour plus tips", he replied. I immediately grabbed my wallet only to find I only had $ 80 with me. I apologized and said, I couldn't do it. He replied "well, I could give you a sample"..."How much is a sample ?" I asked. "It's $ 80" he replied...GREAT ! So.. we went to the hotel nearby where he was sharing a room with some of the other dancers for their "dates". We fucked like crazy for at least two hours...after which he said I was the hottest man who had ever hired him...and asked for my number...he wanted to hook up again. I still paid him the $80. Everything I had in my wallet. It's his JOB. I have always respected that since that first time I paid for some fun.

When I get inquiries from younger guys claiming they are attractive (and deserving of a discount) I usually tell them there is an extra charge for being beautiful. Beauty is more work.
