Something interesting happened recently and I am curious if this has happened to any of you..I was with a hott escort about 2wks ago.

 

He came to my apt. When he arrived at my building I buzzed him up. He is a hunk. Wow!! We talked a little than we went to fuck. About 20 mins into fucking him he said my name..Hmmm well you might ask what is the problem with that...hmm....... He used my "Real Name." Well everything came to a screeeeching halt. With my dick still firmly planted in his hole..I asked him how did he know my name?? He said he saw it on my mail which was in a pile on my microwave out of range.

 

You see I take great pains, as we all probably do, to keep my identity private. I have even had my name removed from the mailbox at the entrance of my building. Well I was pissed and I fucked him so hard he begged me to stop. I asked him not to use my "Real Name" again. He did apologize..but I will not hire him again.. It was rather eerie.

 

2mnths ago an escort whom I had only met once.. came to my place... blah blah blah. We had a great time and I told him to let me know when he was in town again..Well he did just that...but he used my "Real Name" in the email. I did not tell him and he didn't use it when he was in my apt. I will not use him again either..

 

My question ..Is this a new trend...? Is this a new form of customer service? Cuz if it is.. I do not like it.. The line between Fantasy and Reality had vanished in both cases for me. I have been to escorts apts and seen mail and mags in plain site with their names displayed...but I would never use them..

Perhaps you should be angry at yourself for allowing these escorts to learn your real name when you obviously do not want them to. I doubt that their use of your real name was intended as an affront.

 

I have never been into creating a false name for myself for hiring purposes. I figure that if I am giving someone my address and phone number -- not to mention being sexually intimate with him -- there's no problem with him knowing my name. Since you obviously feel differently, I suggest that you exercise even more caution in keeping your identity private.

I agree with this assessment by guyinsf. I also don't conceal my name, but if I did, and I left stuff out in my place where the escort learned what it was, I don't think I would blame him.

There are indeed many ways for somebody coming to your place to learn your name. For example, many people are surprised what a Google search on their phone number, address, or even their email address/alias turns up.

 

I understand discretion, and I understand having an alias be part of the fantasy. But this sounds like more, and if security means this much to you I'd say it is obvious you need to stop having people over to your place, and since you can't get a decent room without a credit card or showing your ID (often even if the other person pays) it looks like incalls are the only thing for you...

 

Even then, watch your phone number. At the very least it needs to be blocked from sending caller ID and have the voicemail changed to just say the number, not your name. But there are ways around blocked caller ID (and blocking it doesn't work at all if you're calling an 800-number like some agencies use), if you're worried somebody may be that interested.

This is a risk we all take when we invite an escort to your home. I will take simple precations in my first contact with the escort before we actually meet, but tend to let a few guards down if we meet and I think this is a guy I would want to see again. My nature is to be very personable and would rather know this guys name or what his friends call him, and if I feel he is being honest with me, I will always return the favor. Thus far, all escorts have been honest with me.

Some of the things I try to do to make sure my real name isn't out there:

Call your cell provider and ask that your name be removed from the caller id, it will then say something like "wireless caller" instead of your name. I always make sure there is no mail laying face up on the counter. I avoid going into my home office cause there are many awards and plaques that has my name on it, including my employer. Another thing is to turn the volume down on your phone machine in case someone calls while the escort is there and you both are able to hear the message as it is being left.

As you well know, the internet provides many avenues for anyone to find out information about you. This is just the age we live in.

I think you're being TOTALLY unreasonable, considering you are inviting someone into your home to fuck with you and you don't want him to know your name. What about considering this issue from the escort's perspective. He is putting a certain amount of trust in you, coming to your home. You could easily drug him (crazier things have happened). There are many escorts who will not deal with clients who have blocked caller ID. Unfortunately not everyone is on the up-and-up as I assume you are but you need to be aware of other people's concerns, not just yours. Just my thoughts.

How do you expect to keep your identity private if you are giving the escort your address and telephone number?

 

Also, I don't understand the "fantasy" of keeping your idenity private. Unless your "fantasy" name is Dirk Diggler there doesn't seem to be much of a purpose.

 

For outcalls or incalls I always use my real name when hiring. I feel there are too many mind games in life as it is so I try to keep things simple when I have control.

It sounds like you were actually mad at yourself for being careless about concealing your identity, but you took out your anger on him instead. He may have felt that calling you by your real name would increase the intimacy of the encounter, which is a different kind of fantasy when one is doing sex-for-money, and obviously not the fantasy that you wanted. It is hard to conceal one's identity from anyone anymore, unless you call the escort from a public phone, go to his place by public transport, and don't take any personal ID with you. I'm not sure it is worth the trouble for most of us.

While I may not throw my name around the first time I meet someone, I do use my real first name on even the first email, and if there is a legit reason for them to need to know, I'll tell them the last too. Never had a problem with it. If there is a repeat meeting I have no qualms about them knowing my name. Well let me begin by saying that the place I use to entertain is a sublet and not my real home..I do get mail there from time to time. Most of the time I do go to the escorts home because I live too far from the city. In roughly 68 encounters this has never happened. These situations both happened recently within a 2mnth period which is why asked was it something new. Both of these escorts were first timers..tho I could understand if it were repeat escorts. In fact there are at least 3 escorts that I have been with 6 or more times. They don't know and don't care what my name is and I certainly don't care what their names are..

 

He had to do some snooping to get my info which was my major concern and I will just be extra careful as I choose to continue to use escorts. In my current situation I have to be careful with my identity. I only use a phone card when I call so I don't have to worry about caller-id.

 

BTW the escort had no clue I was mad..He loved being pounded..He asked me to stop and slow down which I did...I get that all the time..I am a fast and hard fucker what can I say ...enough about that...

That is the CRUX of what I interpreted the post to be about. What the HELL, is an escort DOING via reading a client's mail, especially since SUCH mail was positioned to be inaccessible, unless one made an effort to read it!

 

I will not make any assumptions, but, imo, there is NO EXCUSE for such actions by anyone, much less an escort!

Well this entire clarification seems to change the entire scenario. Now I REALLY stand by my original assertion, Godiva, that you should go into porn writing. You took great pains to make the story less to your advantage just to make it HOT. LOL

Do you make it clear just how discreet you want to be in advance?

 

As a client, I for one ALWAYS use my complete real name and information with anyone I see. I have no problem whatsoever with escorts using my real name. In fact, I prefer it and can't fathom trying to use a fake name personally - I wouldn't enjoy that at all. (But then I don't have any situations where I have to worry as much about discretion as some people might have to.)

 

On the other hand, I also know the real name of at least one escort (and other information) too. To me, that's a compliment that he trusts me, and I wouldn't betray that, just as I know him having my real info. is the same type of thing. *shrugs*

 

So I think it's all dependent on the client-escort relationship and expectations on both sides. If you aren't already doing this and want to avoid a situation like this in the future, I'd really make sure you explain VERY clearly just how discreet you are and need to be in advance. A good escort should respect that.
