If this is not allowed, I apologize and please delete.  I've noticed that quite a few masseurs on the RentMasseur site post pics that show complete nudity. I was wondering if this infers that the masseur is agreeable to nude massage with mutual touching allowed....

It’s a funny balance.  There was an ad several years ago where the provider showed a good bit of “skin”, but made it clear in his ad “therapeutic only”, and I’ve used a  provider or two that were very discreet with their photos but not so discreet behind closed doors!  I agree with Ichabod above, best to ask and not assume.

Ditto.  Some providers work on the assumption that clients will be satisfied with just seeing the details rather than having any engagement with them.

One of the masseurs here on RM posts sooo many thirst-trap photos — always topless, showing off his body, etc. So naturally, when I first saw his profile, I assumed the actual experience would match the vibe he was putting out there. 😂

Then when I inquired, I found out that I wasn’t allowed to touch him or his c*ck at all. Which, to be fair, was okaaaaay lol. His boundaries are his boundaries, and I respected that. I just found it kind of funny because his profile definitely gave me a completely different impression going into it. 😂

Not complaining about the boundary itself — I just think it’s interesting how sometimes the way someone markets themselves on RM can create a very different expectation from what they actually offer in person.

I’ve made a similar (but tamer) observation about masseurfinder.com… they’ve only recently started allowing shirtless pics. So there I am, innocently scrolling for legitimate therapeutic details like technique and setup, when I get ambushed by images of perfect pecs and rippling abs. The sheer nerve…

On a serious note, it’s certainly safe to assume that if the masseur is showing skin, he’s enticing you to indulge in his erotic services OR is a cocktease…YMMV.  Sometimes it’s a total surprise.  I once had a very attractive, fully clothed masseur give me a mind-blowing, legitimate massage then towards the end was obviously aroused and eager add some heat to our session… which I enthusiastically encouraged.  I do enjoy surprises the most.

Don't go by the pictures, but rather go by their listing. When I see a porn star who explicitly lists "massage only", regardless of the website they're advertising on, they mean it. If a guy is in his cock-hugging undies without a shirt but lists "therapeutic" only, he is. HOWEVER, all men are different, and have a different reason for having a session go further, but that's THEIR CALL, not yours.

It's interesting as I was just thinking about the Rent Men and Rent Massuer websites last week.  I hire off of both.  Oddly enough I have noticed more thirst trap cock shots on Rent Masseur than on Rent Men.  I don't know how this came to be, but it sucks when I'm just horny and can't see the total offering on Rent Men.  But I can see everything on Rent Massuer when I'm often looking for a good massage.  It's backasswards

I signed up for a paid membership in rentmasseur a few months ago, mainly so that I could see the private pictures and make a better judgement about hiring.   There you see pretty much everything, but still not a great indication of how far they will go.   All a question of chemistry I guess.   Interestingly, however, there were a couple of masseurs (whom I have hired and would hire again) who blocked me when they got the notification that I had accessed their private  pics.   I cannot even message them.   I found that pretty weird.  That happen to anyone else?

Just adding to the chorus, don't assume anything but if they show skin especially below the belt its a safe bet they are atleast open to touch and perfectly OK to ask their boundaries. If they want completely clinical it's on them to to say that in their ad and not entice. Afterall if all I wanted was a basic massage I would walk down to spa envy.

Every provider has a unique relationship with the "happy ending,". Some use nudity strictly as marketing and are nothing but a cock-tease in person. You find this is often the case when men self-identify as "straight". Others are a case of YRMV with some clients reporting massageONLY, others had MN&MT experience and even some with full deli. The massage ads DO come with a very wide and mysterious range of expectations of sensuality/sexuality. As mentioned above  its best to ask...BUT many providers advertise as a masseur as a matter of discretion and careful of law enforcement so asking bluntly while online, may not get you the honest answer.  MY approach is to always assume that I am hiring for an erotic massage, and let things go as the provider is comfortable with going. If they DO interpret "erotic" as very sensual/slightly sexual, then I will inquire afterwards (and after tipping generously) if they have ever done escorting. I have only ever had one provider insulted by that question. Several masseurs over many years of hiring would grow more sexual after hiring a few times until they would sometimes turn full-on deli and of course, my appreciation would be shown through generous compensation for that intimacy.

Very well said.  That is my approach as well.  This approach has helped me establish solid long term relationships with a handful of providers over the years.

Thirst trap photos for just a therapeutic no-MT massage is disingenuous at best, bait and switch at worst.

I just ask about what the rates are and what their massage is like.  The answer tells me what I need to know.   "$xoxo for 60 minutes with both nude, mutual touch and HE."

If a provider wants to overperform and go further,  that may be great,  but as long as my expectations are met, great.

Now if the rate is truly a therapeutic massage rate, I'm fine going for the massage and what happens, happens. But I can get a therapeutic massage at Hand and Stone for $89, so don't tell me that your therapeutic massage is $200.  Why do I care what you look like or are wearing if I'm just getting a legit massage?!

No sympathy here for the guys who post topless or less photos, change double the massage rate and then claim just therapeutic when the time comes.

Certainly not always the case but depending on what is being charged (either ad on MF or RM) if Im paying 150(+) and depending on their pics, it's usually mutual nudity and a HE situation at least.
