Nue2thegame Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Party and Play is listed as a “preference” by some providers (less than a third in my area). This came up in another thread and I began to realize that I hadn’t given it enough thought and maybe it deserves its own thread. Does it mean that the provider is tolerant of recreational drug use by his clients or actively encourages and participates? What drugs does it usually entail besides poppers, marijuana, methamphetamine, GBH and cocaine? If PNP is included as a preference in an ad, is it an automatic deal killer for you or do you rely on reviews to make that call? I haven’t yet encountered an obviously impaired provider but I may not have been paying enough attention. I recognize that not many PNP seekers are likely to chime in here but would appreciate reading the perspectives of those that know more than I do. I’m assuming that we’re all familiar with the associated risks of PNP; I’m interested in how you approach the issue. + SidewaysDM 1
liubit Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago In my book, PNP means Positively No Play 🤷🏻♂️ jackcali 1
savantsav Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago In the gay community mostly Meth and GHB. Cocaine too. I don't book anyone with PNP on their profile. jeezifonly and maninsoma 1 1
MikeBiDude Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago As I posted earlier today on that other thread, it’s pretty clearly defined here: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pnp definition "Party and Play" ... "party" means drugs, often meth (crystal/tina) or E, "play" means sex. Usually leads to long, chemmed-up sex sessions. Usually seen in chat room or ads. + Jamie21 and Nue2thegame 1 1

I was the same way - what you do on your own time is your business. My change came in 2025 after specific experiences with two highly rated providers in New Orleans. I hope they get what they need. But I’m able to regularly observe at least one one of them on hook up apps with his “face down/ass up cum dump” posts to know meth is probably leaving him voraciously horny Meth is the gift that keeps on giving and triggers provider behaviors that interject risk into our interaction. There’s plenty of awesome SOBER guys out there to not have to take that risk. I wonder - how many of you actually look at evidence of STD testing before you hire someone? Because, there is a strong, well-documented correlation between meth use and a 50% increased risk of HIV. So, we can say what you do on your time is your business….until you track mud on to my rug. maninsoma Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I equate PNP with drug use like meth or G. I've never associated the term with marijuana or alcohol use. I also associate its inclusion in an ad as an indication that the provider partakes, not just that he's open to clients who do, unless his ad has text that clearly spells that out. A major reason for me to avoid providers who list PNP in their ads: People who use substances regularly are frequently less reliable in terms of keeping appointments. + PhileasFogg, Nue2thegame and NipLuvr212 1 1 1

Just want to second what you have written here... My most consistent experience with provider who like to PNP is that they are susceptible to wild mood swings - one guy last week in Montreal went from a zero to 100 in terms of disposition when i declined to give him my building code prior to his arrival. Going to be more careful going forward but glad i dodged a bullet on this one
