longislandjohn Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Just a rant. I wish RM was more clear with this tag. I am a smoker. I prefer an escort who is also a smoker so I look for those who list "yes" under smoking. But, it seems that they all mean weed which is not what I'm looking for. As I said, it's just a rant, but it's annoying to have to ask for clarification on something like this. I wish they had a separate 420 tag or something.
BuffaloKyle Posted Thursday at 11:02 PM Posted Thursday at 11:02 PM This comes up with regards to vaping as well and in both ways. Providers will list "no" to smoking and then during a session will pull out a vape or will list "yes" to smoking when clients might be fine with vaping and just really want to steer clear of cigarette smoke. Nue2thegame Posted Friday at 08:29 PM Posted Friday at 08:29 PM It reminds me of a really hot session I had awhile back. After we both stopped to gain our breath, drenched in sweat, my partner asked me if I ever smoked after sex. I replied, “I don’t know, I’ve never looked “. jackcali, liubit and + SidewaysDM 3
Rudynate Posted Friday at 08:38 PM Posted Friday at 08:38 PM I smoke cigars now and then, but I never smoke in the house. I would expect the same of a provider who smoked. We could both go down to the garage, which I use as a sort of man cave, and have a smoke together. Not in the house though. thomas 1
DMonDude Posted Friday at 08:53 PM Posted Friday at 08:53 PM I find this annoying too, the ambiguity of that info field. I'm the opposite though, I'm cool with weed and/or a little bit of vaping but i can't handle guys who smoke cigs/cigars (no judgement, just probably not gonna kiss you lol). I actually don't even really like vaping either, but so many guys my age and younger do it I've had to learn to deal with it a little bit. I generally really hate vape/cigarette/cigar breath but i can handle vape breath if it's minimal. But also yeah the younger you go the more likely it is any kind of "yes" to smoking usually means vapes or weed instead of cigs/cigars. Millennials and Gen Z almost universally don't smoke cigs/cigars. The whole no smoking campaign and accompanying laws in the U.S. in the 90s and 2000's was pretty effective on us. But yeah "big tobacco" got Gen Z in particular on the vaping big time in it's place. Tinder actually specifically lists Cannabis use and cigarette smoking as two separate things you can say yes/no to and every other app or website along these lines all should copy that. They should even go the next step and have a vaping designation too. Though that's a bit easier to lump in with cigs/cigars because it's just a different vessel for nicotine. + SidewaysDM 1
jeezifonly Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM Posted yesterday at 12:45 AM When I began in my work milieu (theatre) everyone smoked cigarettes. Simultaneously in my social milieu (gay bars) everyone smoked cigarettes. Fukkin clove even... I never smoked tobacco and was always in the minority. Now that both milieus are in my past, I fit in with the current majority. I dated and made out with many smokers, in my day. Now, it's like licking an ashtray. It's never rude to ask for clarification. ShortCutie7 and + SidewaysDM 2
+ SidewaysDM Posted yesterday at 03:09 AM Posted yesterday at 03:09 AM I make this clear before hiring any provider or hooking up. I will NOT tolerate ANY kind of smoking before, during or right after a session. As a former cigarette and pot smoker, I find the stale smell of tobacco or pot to be nauseating. Especially on your providers breath! Even though I prefer a freshly showered approach, before a session. I can tolerate some natural body odor, over the disgusting and revolting smell of smoke! BTW I quit smoking 30 years ago! Best decision of my life! Nue2thegame, DMonDude and liubit 1 2
liubit Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I am a former cigarette smoker: quitting 40 years ago was the best decision I ever made, just like @SidewaysDM says. I find the stench of tobacco in hair, clothes and skin disgusting, and kissing a smoker -no matter how much chewing gum or mouthwash he uses, the scent remains in his breath- is a particular deterrent. Like @jeezifonly puts it, it feels like licking an ashtray. 🤮 Nue2thegame, NJF and + SidewaysDM 1 2
