At 6’4” (certified) I lie sometimes and say 6’1”. It forces the guys lying about being 6 feet tall to do some reckoning and some math.

I’m 5’4” and I would rather read you are a true 6’4” than the more common 6’1”

I’m a height queen, but I’m also on the tall side myself. I’m only attracted to men taller by 6inches or more. 6 feet is really the minimum for me, and while lying about one inch is a grey area, any more then that and I’d walk if there was deception about height. Any shorter than 6 feet just doesn’t physically work for me.

Exactly, and from down here I can barely tell the difference, so why lie?  At that, any guy over like 5’10 is gonna be towering over me.

So I met this one provider porn star who i clearly already watched in countless videos but his profile said he was 9 inches. When he got to my room he immediately said “just so you know I’m 7 inches not 9 but I’m gonna make you think it’s nine “and then he did just that and I wasn’t mad. But I do hate deceptive advertising and at this point id rather only fuck with guys who skip the bullshit and get straight to the point… and who know how to deliver what the client is looking for. If they can do that well they don’t need to misrepresent but I guess it’s marketing.

Agreed—it comes down to marketing. Most of these sites let you filter by age, size, height, etc., so of course a lot of guys game the system to show up in more searches. It’s frustrating, but sadly common. That said, if you can actually deliver what the client is looking for, there’s zero reason to misrepresent. The truth sells just fine when the service is so good.

They always lie about height, but I tell them I am 5'10 and according to their profile they should be taller than me. I let them know that if they are shorter than me in person it is a dealbreaker (and I will send them away). Like I give them some leeway to lie about their height but there is a line they can't cross as the experience I am searching for requires that height.

There was this one escort that I hired specifically to break into my second hole. They were informed that this was the reason for the employment so if their dick is not as advertised, I will know and it will be a dealbreaker. He measured it again and sent a message back saying it is not as big as advertised.

Height makes a big difference for certain positions also. You have to draw the line in the sand before anything even happens and let them know that payment depends on their honesty.

I would agree.

As being someone who's a just a smidge under a true 6'4", I can tell immediately when someone isn't anywhere near the 6'+ they've claimed.

On grindr, there's an epidemic of guys who are much shorter and nowhere near muscular saying otherwise.

Interestingly, men who are 5 feet 11 are the most genuine about how tall they are, based on a recent "man on the street" segment I saw on YouTube. It makes sense, because they're well aware they aren't at that barrier that so many refuse to give the time of day to, so it is of no benefit to try to lie. I feel that women are far more picky about men being at least 6 feet tall (and at least 6 inches) than men are.

In a provider's ad, subtract two inches from both, and you're likely right on the money with accuracy.

I do the same.  I'm 6'3" but say 6'1”, and my younger brother is 6'4" but says he's 6'5".  When we are together and I tell people I am 6"1' and he tells them he is 6'5", they always look at him and know he is lying to inflate his ego.

And what does your lie say about you?  ;)

This is funny because I'm 5'11" and generally wouldn't date men under 6". My husband is 6'1" but if asked will say he's "6 feet tall." I care less about height when it comes to providers because I'm interested in diversity but as @BenjaminNicholas being the height I am, I can tell immediately if someone is 6" tall or less.
