or get their negative reviews removed, it happened to me twice and I closed my account n RM because of that.

frequently, there are many reviews by same person. also, look at when the reviewer became a member - lots of reviews by people who signed up same month.  Or, if several reviews happen in a short period of time.

They can only "game" the system if they create paid accounts with friends CC, as you say that's impossible to do with hundreds of reviews. 

On a good trip an escort is usually busier than back home, therefore he could get multiple reviews within a few days and after that no reviews for a while, also if the same guy reviews an escort is because he's a regular. 

I know an escort who has over 300 reviews and still guys ask him if he's a cop... He had 2 negative reviews that were later removed, and potential clients constantly asked him about them: "what went wrong?", etc. To some folks nobody is good enough!

the assumption is RM would be looking for duplicate CC transactions & they wouldn’t allow a card used by a provider to be used to create a client profile.  doubtful RM cares, since they seem entirely focused on money.  And accounts can created some as one-time transactions only. 

for a provider that understands the importance of reviews - it’s a very small price to pay for the ability to post positive reviews & drive client engagement.  and there could be some providers splitting the cost to post positive reviews to several accounts 

there are definitely suspect reviews & patterns on RM - however it happens

I always get asked nowadays. Guys with no reviews can be desperate, and even guys with lots of reviews push me.

I've had to turn down a regular because I don't want to leave that many reviews on a single person. As I said, that's a red flag.

One other thing - you always have the option to contact the client who left a review, and ask them about it. I get constant RM messages like that. Usually I tell them to join CoM and PM me here.

It depends. I use Rentmasseur and check for reviews. Some masseurs use bots to fill their reviews, and those are easily noticeable because the reviews would often be posted minutes apart, or the way way the review is written looks weird, or the rates don't match up. I think you just have to use your best discretion and judgment for reviewing the reviews.

You can game the system indefinitely, especially if you pool resources. I mean really, we have  many posts here about the " Murray Hill Gang." How difficult would it be for several providers to kick money into a pool and fund memberships for people who do nothing but write great reviews.

And that is why, I would much rather donate funds here. I feel like keeping this site alive and solvent, is a much better return on my investment.

It would be a red flag for me if all of the reviews were for one hour….

I like to see a healthy mix of time durations. If there are multiple reviews from the same person I look to see if the dwell time is increasing with more recent reviews

Also keep in mind some clients do tend to give guys 5 stars in the hopes the provider will come back for a second round. Even if they were not 5 star material.

The provider will only come back for a second round if invited $ by the client. Is up to the client to rehire him or move on to someone else. 

Talking this slight off subject I know some escorts avoid seeing clients who have left negative reviews because they could do it again and they might be just difficult. Obviously not all clients click and save their reviews in their review list.

Most clients hire for 1 hour! 

Also not all clients review or nowadays can review because some don't want to have their information saved in RM after what happened to RB.

I'm amazed all of the sudden reviews are so important, I recall many threads saying things like "RM reviews are unreliable", etc.

You can know we're simply ask how much does he charge

Again most guys hire per hour, few hire overnight or trips, therefore an overwhelming number of reviews are for 1 hour service

IME a lot of higher priced guys don’t respond immediately with pricing. If I encounter this I move on. There are plenty of guys out there who are more responsive.

While a lot of clients here, including me, prefer longer, I get the feeling that's only for openly gay men who are comfortable with their sex life.

I was with you until "that's only for openly gay men who are comfortable with their sex life." Mainly, I can't accept the converse that I read into that statement: 'if someone wants just an hour, they are either closeted or not comfortable with their sex life.'

We all have different proclivities for sex. Top/bottom, quick dirty/drawn out passion, used hard like a slut/loved tenderly like a BF, etc. I think it's  inherent to being comfortable with your sex life to know what you want, what you desire, and even know what you are missing in your non-monetized sex life.

Maybe you're both tops or bottoms, or don't want a BF experience, or simply enjoy lots of new "faces". If a guy can bring in a provider to scratch that itch, and it's satiated after 30, or 60 mins, good for him.

One rather enthusiastic client reviewed me several times. 4x in the screencap below plus two more at later dates. What can I say? He was really happy with my service!

So far I have received no other duplicate reviews. One recent client was very kind to post the same review across multiple platforms.

You all are right to have your fraud detectors on high alert, but once in a while a legit client leaves multiple genuine reviews. It’s not always fraud.
