I met Danny many years ago and aside from his amazing looks, he was very kind to me and had a charming personality.  Truly a good guy.

“Myophile’s Law”: The nicer the guy, and the more enthusiastic and heartfelt the praise, the more likely to attract a troll.

Trolls can smell positivity a mile off, and it drives them bonkers.

It's because all of Vin Marcos posts are AI generated. It's very off putting. it's clear it's chatgpt and he probably uses the prompt: make it erudite. make it kind. So his erudition and his kindness are AI generated, so it's misleading and false advertising. He clearly had a real roid rage reply with makeup from chatGPT directed through a client in this very thread. He comes across as a meathead using GPT trying to come across as erudite- but if you want to really try to impress, try grad school, try opening a non profit, etc, if you want to impress. Using chatgpt to appear educated or kind won't do it.

So are the rest of us — satisfied clients, old friends, colleagues in the biz — also just figments of AI’s fevered imagination? Don’t be a moron. If anybody’s using AI in this thread to push an agenda, it’s you, Miss Thing.

What evidence do you have that any of Vin’s posts are AI generated? None. I know Vin well and I can tell you that he is as articulate in person as he is online.  He is very well read and speaks several languages. Yes, I count Vin as one of my good friends. He can hold his own in conversation with anyone from a janitor to a high ranking member of the judicial system at a dinner party. I’ve have been with him when he has done so. He is a wonderful addition to any dinner party.

By the way, I am a successful attorney who  can spot insecure, angry, jealous people who revel in schadenfreude, a mile away. I pity you.

I am glad you have the good sense to avoid the posters here that come to a thread with your name as the title to state emphatically and untruthfully items that are just click bait fodder.    Knowing you for a long time and having well invested my time in getting to know you, I feel confident that in  any circumstances with those posters, you will be the bigger man physically, emotionally and intellectually.  I know the accusations made are totally false and admire your abiltiy to leave those trolls under the bridge where they so rightfully belong.  

I would encourage the moderators to check into the IP addresses of those new posters who have come to this thread to spew lies and to reveal if they have other more familiar names.  The internet is filled with faceless cowards sending insults out into the ether seemingly without consequence.  Perhaps these posters should have some consequences.

My only encounters with Vin have been poolside chats in Palm Springs over the last three years.  I can say in those conversations, he displayed a strong memory.  For example he remembered pieces of a conversation from our first five-minute conversation in April of 2021 that he had no reason to recall, such as telling him that although I have always lived in the Midwest, my folks met at a university near Palm Springs and had visited regularly to see family.  That type of recall and kindness is not AI generated.  

I don’t know enough about ChatGPT to understand how it works or whether Vin is using it for his posts.  What I can say is, “color me doubtful” that AI was used.  Based solely on my conversations with him, I have no reason to suspect they are not typed by him as the thoughts come to mind.  They read like I would expect a transcript of my conversations with him would read.

So, for the nights I spent with @Vin Marco, did I actually spend time with a hologram? Or with a Hyperdyne Systems 120-A/2? I  have a right to know.

I’ve only met him briefly, but the man I met matches the personality displayed here 100%. If Vin and his posts are entirely AI generated….then bring on the AI baby! It looks like an incredible future for all of us. 

Maybe I should start generating all my responses through AI, and include the instruction to "make it sound like something Vin Marco would say".
