RentMen App and “Map Me”

In LA, providers listing themselves in LA can be anywhere from Santa Barbara to Palm Springs and Orange County. On the rent.men site, under “contact me” was an option to get an approximate location of the provider offering incalls. This has always been an important piece of information when searching. I know how much time I’ve allotted for my date, from walking out the door, to walking back in, factoring in travel time. If a guy is outside my allowed travel time, I won’t reach out, but save him for another point when I am able to travel further. 
The NEW RentMen App doesn’t offer anything comparable on location. Anybody else disappointed by this? I don’t want to have to reach out just to ask where he does his work.

it was rarely useful for me in the old version.  The majority of providers in Detroit don't provide any location information more specific than Detroit, so most of them showed the same location at the center of the city.

Same in San Francisco.  I think most providers simply indicate they live in the central part of the city, so almost everyone is between .3 and .6 miles away from me.  Ironically, I hired one guy who lives in my building and he's supposedly .7 miles away from me even though he's probably .02 miles away.  I've also noticed that some guys are supposedly off the coast.  I doubt there are many guys living in houseboats or on rafts in the Pacific Ocean.

Same problem in Atlanta metro.  Large geographical area.  Locations could be anywhere from half as mile or 20 miles from you. 

Its definitely a factor is deciding if a meeting is feasible.

I never much look at the location in profiles......when planning a meet, I'll ask providers for their general area of town, ask about incall/outcall and their preference, and zero in on a mutual decision about meeting at a hotel I get or whatever.......I try to make it convenient for us both......

those location maps on rentmen are often funny......one guy a few years had a location at the Beverly Hills PD.......I presume that's because he didn't indicate a location and the RM software defaulted to the downtown PO/city offices/city hall complex area.......and I'll bet that happens with many profiles......communicate with the provider!!!!

When I see an ad for an escort in Philadelphia, I am sometimes curious enough to use the "map me" function, but most of the time it says that the escort is located next to City Hall.

I recall a provider whose RM map location was the Monroe/Dearborn station of the Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line subway. Here in Phoenix, their location is often a post office.

Most of the providers in San Jose seem to live in the same building according to Map Me.

Exactly the same in NYC.  Working out of City Hall would be unlikely, but that's where 90% of the "map me" function, landed.

I'm pretty sure Rent.Men has a default "location" in every city. In Denver it's in Civic Center Park downtown where they have all the festivals and parades. The provider has to actually set their location.
