I can think of at least one really good one right now. There’s a small gang over there that tells Oz what to do. Anyway - the unintended consequence is that I’m now here & it’s better. I used to use the old Hooboy site decades ago….so, it’s full circle. I did not understand the connection until today. thank you for the kind words. Much appreciated. I always enjoyed his posts & comments with appreciation for his time and effort to make that site available. but there was a clear pattern going way back w a few sycophants who were totally up his backside…always gushing & fawning over every little utterance. I upset one of the sycophants….it’s that simple. The sycophant in question was a person that was supporting/endorsing racist posts and the member that posted it. When I pointed that out, the sycophant went nuts and went straight to Oz. I have zero tolerance for racism in all forms & places. I would hope in this day & age, among adult gay men that we have enough compassion & decency to call out racism wherever it may exist. That was not acceptable to Oz and the little gang over there. It’s called Gayguides But, because that site is very focused on Brazil, Dominican Republic, Colombia, etc ..it tends to attract trolls who are fishing for specific contact information of foreign sex-workers, then they proceed to harass those sex-workers posing as potential clients. Sometimes even claiming they were in those countries and looking to hire, only to engage in extended sexting…they get off on it. Very weird and happened frequently. Several of the very best members no longer post there because of the nonstop troll activity that fits that pattern. As for the members there …..“conservative” is a nice way to describe some of them I guess. I’d say out-of-touch might better…..they generally weren’t malicious, just no clue about how society has changed regarding race and what is & isn’t appropriate anymore. It’s a lack of being exposed to different types of people and living in an isolated bubble somewhere. Quite odd for people who are supposedly so well-travelled. and, It’s not about being politically correct - it’s about being a decent person. Why not stick to that and forget the unpleasantness over there? my posts are all still up if there is some question about the content. the “unpleasantness” over there was strictly trolls & racism. the trolls were nonstop and encouraged by many for some unknown reason. the racism expressed there that was tolerated & endorsed….well, that’s just beyond comprehension in 2022. while it’s not my intention to rehash gayguides beyond these brief posts - I can understand why you would want to shut me down on this topic. as far as I’m concerned - this is the end of it. but, it is what it is. and anyone can look it up on that other site. the racist posts and the people that endorsed them remain up. unless you’re gonna get Oz to delete them so there is no trace….and I’m sure that will be your next move.
