Charlie is openly gay and his brother, Max professes to be completely straight. I will point out that although biologically born from two halves of an egg....they spent years at different boarding schools which means they had different environments growing up. Do you wake up one day, sit down at the breakfast table when you are about 5 years old and make the decision with Mom & Dad? How you "choose" to live your life is a different situation. We are in our infancy in regards to genetics. One of the first big studies was done by Dr. Dean Hammer at the NIH back in the early nineties if I remember correctly. My partner at the time was a participant with his brother. It was later found to have some flaws but set the groundwork for future studies; one of which was released a few years ago. Even if scientists were able to prove the genetic component with 100% certainty, many Americans wouldn't believe it anyway and we have the recent COVID epidemic as proof of Americans' distrust of science.
