Provider asking for selfie with your ID?

A new provider in my area, PapaLobo, is asking clients to provide a selfie with their ID, as a countermeasure to scammers. He's a hairy beast that ticks a lot of my boxes, but that requirement is a huge turnoff...

What do you guys think? Red flag or prudent business?

Yeah, that is a horrible horrible idea. Who would ever let a provider know their full name, address, and date of birth. If he asked me for that I'd say show me yours first! 🤣

This request is not reasonable. In almost every way the client is taking a much bigger risk meeting a provider than the provider is meeting the client.

I had a provider ask me to take a picture of my driver's license and text him the photo 

I promptly replied sorry not happening and I am no longer interested in meeting with you 

Then blocked him on RM and my phone

I just read a profile for a visiting provider. In his ad, he announced he was very "selective" about who he met with, and required a full-body photo. I just blocked his ad as a precaution....

Who falls for scammers these days anyways? Do not send anything @Ghadd. Just the fact that he created his RM profile 2 days ago is enough red flag to not trust.
