Please mark your calendars for the Weekend – April 10 and 11, 2021. Specifics will not be posted here, in order to preserve confidentiality. Therefore, if you are serious about attending this year’s events, please send an e-mail to me (if you know my address) or a “private message” with your return e-mail address so that I may send you the pertinent information as it unfolds. Your confidential information will be respected, as I expect mine to be.

 

The first order of business will be Saturday dinner reservations at a contemporary local restaurant, followed by RSVP’s for the Sunday pool gathering at my temporary residence, followed by Sunday supper reservations at a local Mexican restaurant. With the current virus situation, we will be constrained by the regulations of Riverside County in effect at the time of the Weekend. At the present time that limits restaurant dining to outside dining, wearing masks when not at your table, and spacing of tables. This may change by the time of the Weekend. I will keep you informed.

 

If you will be bringing a “guest”, please tell me who. That information will also be kept confidential, unless you say otherwise. Attendance by escorts (by themselves or as someone's guest) is greatly encouraged.

 

If you will be coming from out-of-town and need accommodations, you should arrange for those ASAP, if you have not already. There have been several suggestions put forth in the previous thread concerning possible accommodations.

 

Again, the dinner will be early Saturday evening, April 10, the pool gathering will be in the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, and the supper will be Sunday evening.

 

If you have any questions, please ask in your e-mail or message. I look forward to renewing acquaintances and meeting new ones! Come and enjoy!?

Even though today sucks.

I want to come in here and let anyone that may be coming for the PS event that

I will be hosting my early bird pool gathering on Friday April 9th , 12 noon till - duskish.

Come any time stay as long as you like.

We will have plenty of food and drinks. If you have a request for alcohol please let me know in advance.

At some point in the afternoon I will be planting a citrus tree in my backyard for Daddy probably about 3pm.

I do hope you will come and help us celebrate our connection thanks in large part because of Daddy.

Yes, that's him, thanks. I didn't think of checking that spelling because my recollection was that he spelt it with a k. Seeing PS and LA in his travel on the profile would make it one hell of a coincidence if he wasn't the one that Oliver was talking about.

Wow! Now I'm really bummed I'm going to miss it. I hope everyone has a blast this weekend and there are lots of great stories to share with us afterwards.

 

Unfortunately, often the best stories are not able to be shared in public in order to protect the guilty. ?

Please take this comment in a humorous vein but when I see that one of the invited guests to your party is jacktheripper, I think of those old detective series on television like Columbo, the guy who always wore a trench coat.

 

Picture this: a body is found floating face down in a private pool in Palm Springs after a riotous party the evening before. A detective arrives with notebook in hand and asks the host of the party for a list of the guests at the party. The list is produced which includes "jacktheripper".

Hey there guys

Looking forward to seeing those that are coming today.

Pool is heated hot tub is on and Todd will be grilling burgers. we have plenty of food.

However as usual we have a very limited amount of alcohol. Just a few beers and wine.

Soft drinks and bottle water we have plenty.

About 3pm we will plant a mandarin orange tree in honor of Daddy. I hope you will come and say a few words.

Street parking is fine on terrace rd. everywhere.
