I taught high school Advanced Placement Air History for a number of years. Epigono(u)s was a court sculpture to the Attalid dynasty at Pergamum in the late third century B.C. (Hellenistic Period). The marble statues "The Dying Gaul" and the "Ludovisi Gaul" are thought to be Roman marble copies of his original bronzes. Just taking a look at those two statues explains it all.

I've used this username for years for a number of sites. It's a combination of my nickname and city's airport code. I've had the 'Woofie' nickname for quite a long time and it came out of a nickname I was given in high school, Wolfie, because of my shoulder length hair, pronounced canines (which I never noticed until someone pointed it out), and general wolf like personality. As I grew older and hung around the bear community it morphed into what it is today because I was told I was woof-able, lol. Oh to be that young again. The hair is long gone for the most part but I still have the teeth! Don't think I'm too woof-able anymore and definitely leaning more bear than wolf these days, thanks COVID!

I spent the summer of my 18th year building houses in Colorado. There was a 28-year old who worked on the concrete crew, Pete whose nickname was keef or keefer. As an 18 year old I had an insatiable crush. Though nothing ever happened (he was a girl magnet) I guess I was sufficiently puppy-like that he adopted me as a younger brother for a few months. Still have fond memories holding tight on the back of a motorcycle, borrowing his skateboard and quite used denim jackets. Extremely fond memories house sitting for him when he went home to California for holidays (first time on a waterbed, and I found where he hid condoms and porn)... I lost contact with him soon after Uni, but the crush has lasted a lifetime.

Back in those prehistoric times when I first joined sites like this one, I was studying Russian, and I thought that ”liubit” (he loves) would be a cool-sounding username. There you have it. Funny thing is that I have been asked if it’s not a pun for “lube it”, like in “put some lube on it”. No, it’s not that clever ??‍♂️

I started on the board eons ago as @SoCal . Go ahead and click it, the username is still there!

A “gentleman” I was very very regular with went kooky on me and was threatening to “out” me to family and others based on my time spent here. So I went @MikeBiDude for multiple reasons but to mainly avoid my online (and real time) stalker.

Well I joined in 2005, but had been submitting reviews and lurking for a number of years. My style is upfront and WG totally defined me at the time. Since then I have become more of an S&M switch.

However, based the events of the past year, I have morphed into more of a “wimp guy”. Knowing one’s limits and erring on the side of caution have always been the cardinal rules of the game. That is even more true in these unorthodox times!

Either way the WG still works!
