Since college, I've never been able to call her by her correct name. A friend told me that she'd seen C.L. on a talk show talking about how people always messed up her name-- such as calling her Clorox Bleachman. I thought that was hilarious. So for 40 years now, that's who she's been to me.

I only just saw "The Last Picture Show" last May, in the thick of watching a TON of Turner Classic Movies for a couple months while both the film/TV industry and escort jobs were shut down. Incredible.

 

Was happy to see her in the Starz/Amazon Prime series "American Gods" as well, few years back (I've worked on that one a bunch, but not in the scenes she was in). Was happy to see she was still alive.
